Disney Gift Cards for Annual Dues?

Has anyone succeeded in using a Disney gift card to pay annual dues? The MS automated dues system doesn't have such an option. Can you do it by phone?

Please note: I am asking about GIFT cards, not credit cards or reward cards.

In the past I've called Member Services accounting and used multiple credit cards to pay my annual dues (Disney rewards card and Disney Visa). I haven't done it yet this year - perhaps today!

Yes, but you have to call member accounting. Our dues are about $3000 and last year I paid using mostly $50 gift cards. Winn Dixie had a great promotion with discounted gift cards last year, but they had to be purchased in $50 increments. We do have 3 separate memberships so I was able to spread the calls out to give myself a break from reading all those numbers off. Doing the same thing this year, but have mostly $300 cards to use.
