Disney Gift Cards at Walmart?

Has anyone bought a Disney gift card using a Walmart e-gift card in store recently? Just wanted to make sure that this can still be done. I was reading the fine print on mypoints.com and noticed that Target now requires that e-gift cards be used online only (which means no more Target e-gift cards for Disney gift cards). Walmart had no such fine print, but I wanted to know if anyone had recent experience with this.

I don't know about experiences at Walmart but I recently used a Target e-gift card at the store: you need to first load it on their app. You can then use this to purchase a Disney gift card, but if you are also trying to get 5% off with your Target card this may not work. In my case, they took the gift card amount off the total cost before they gave me my red card discount. I have read on the Dis budget board that some folks are able to have the full 5% taken off.

I just used (within the last couple of weeks) a couple of Walmart e-gift cards to buy Disney Gift cards, no problem.

Yes... I have bought several Disney gift cards at Walmart in the last few weeks using Walmart Gift cards.
