Disney Gift Cards at Walgreens

This may be old news to some of you but I just found out this little tidbit of news. My daughter just called me to report that she had spotted Disney gift cards for purchase at our local Walgreens. She knows that I regularly purchase Disney gift cards for our family for birthdays, etc for our Disney trips. I normally purchase from DisneyShopping.com. She said Walgreens had a Disney princess give card that could be loaded for use at WDW, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, etc. I thought I would share this for those like me that did not know that Walgreens sold Disney gift cards. Now we know!

While we are lucky to have a local Disney store, we have family members that don't live near us that are always asking me what they can get the kids for holidays... now I can refer them to their local Walgreen's for Disney gift cards!

I saw these in the ad too and at first thought they were Walgreens gift cards with Disney characters on them...so they're actually cards you can use at WDW???

DD called from Walgreens and said the cards had the Disney Princesses on them. The cards said good for WDW, DCL, etc. so I am assuming that this the same type gift cards available online and at WDW. And yes, they would work just like any other gift card. You can use them until your $$ on the card has been depleted.

Our local grocery stores sell them too now. It's convenient if you're there anyway but I still prefer the ones from disneyshopping.com esp now that they have soooo many styles to choose from: Christmas, Birthdays, etc.

I am in the NW Atlanta area (Acworth/Dallas) and we have them here at our Walgreens and Kroger too!!

In Arizona I have found them at our Frys and Safeway stores also.

Yes. Your still ordering from DisneyShopping so you get the free shipping from Disney for the gift cards. I just link to them through Ebates.com so I will get a little rebate.

The ones from Walgreens - yes.

The ones from Wegman's - yes (although the store near me sold out 5 weeks ago and they haven't restocked).

I haven't purchased them anywhere else.
