Disney gift cards at Target

I have received a Target gift card for $100. Can I use this at Target to purchase a Disney gift card for $100 (or 2 $50 gift cards, not sure of the denominations that Target offers)?

Yes.
They only offer $50 Disney giftcards.

I have done this. The bummer is that you do not get the 5% discount on the Disney GC's you would get if you used your Red Card.

If you use that GC online, you can still save the 5%. Just make sure that your red card is the primary on your target online account and it works! (I've purchased $600 this way in the past 2 months.)

I buy them in the store when I'm using my Red card, however when I accumulate enough on my Target app for gift cards, then I use that to order online $50 at a time since it really only "costs me" $47.50. Just switch out your Red card account number which will be on default likely and enter the gift card(s).

I combine the points/rewards I earn through Swagbucks, Perks TV, etc and add them into my app for Target, gift cards and combine them as one gift card to use online. I also save the $5.00 and $10 Target gift cards I earn in the store when they have specials, buy 3, get a $5.00 Target card and that way I can order online, again able to get 5% discount. It's not much but every $2.50 per $50.00 Disney gift card order online helps
