Disney Gift Cards at T-rex or Rainforest Cafe

Can you use Disney gift cards at T-rex or Rainforest Cafe at DTD?

The card should tell you where it is valid--I believe only Disney properties, which neither RFC nor TRex would be. If you can't find it there, contact TRex or RFC direct.YWe ate at TRex in 2010 and no Dining plan, nor disney dollars worked there at that time. It's been a few years for us at RFC, I think our AP used to give us a discount, but things may have changed.

As a matter of fact we used one at T Rex when we were there this past Friday to pay for our gratuity. We were on the DxDDP and I expected to have to pay cash for the tip, but when I asked, the waitress said they are now taking them. The only place we found we couldn't use the gift cards for gratuitites was at Paradiso 37.

When I was at House of Blues this past Sept I couldn't use one there either, but don't know if that's still true, since they are now accepting the DDP. Yak & Yeti, T Rex and Rainforest are all three owned by Landy's and we also used the Disney gift card for gratuity at Yak & Yeti last week.
