Disney Gift Cards at Sam's w/free pin

Our Sam's club got their seasonal gift cards and you get a Vinylmation pin with a $75 card. I think they are 8.95??? I'm not sure, they are cute, so I got one of the Dalmatians.

I noticed the new gift card display at Sam's the other day. The one thing that is apparent is that the discounts are much less this year than in the past. Some of the cards are just a few cents discounted and none are close to $1.00 in discounts. The Disney GC doesn't have the bonus Disney Store card attached this year and our Sam's didn't even have the card with the pin. A sign of the times I guess.

Boo. I've been waiting to see if I wanted to renew my membership, and I guess it looks like I won't be.

I've bought several of the $100 GCs at my SAMs. Now I'm afraid they'll run off. Guess I'll buy the rest of what I want this weekend.

I was going to post the same thing today. I saw the new gc at Sam's today, also. I was very disappointed that it was just a pin with purchase. It's a Vinylmation pin - there are lots of different ones from what I saw, but I don't collect or particularly like the Vinylmations, so the deal doesn't appeal to me.

I didn't even think to look how much the card+pin was selling for - just sad that the $10 Disney Store gc was not part of the deal this year.

I got two of these yesterday as well. Wish I had some more funds set aside so I could pick up a couple more before they are gone. The pins don't do anything for me.

I was at Sam's Club today (Holiday, FL) and the $100 gift card with $10 Disney store bonus was up near the checkout lines and the $75 gift card with the pin was back in the middle of the store. They had both, just not in the same place. There were a lot of each. There were also many different pins so some of you may go broke collecting the pins.

Even better, I have a Rewards Mastercard so I earned points, too.

That said, it froze the register twice and I had to move to another line at one point. I'd suggest splitting them up.

Is your Rewards Mastercard a debit card rather than credit? None of our Sams will take Visa or Mastercard credit cards. I usually use my Discover so I'll get 1% cash back since I can't get Disney Rewards.

It's a credit card- a Chase Freedom.

Our stores take Mastercard credit, there is a huge sticker right on the register. Very strange they don't all.
