Disney Gift Card Use

My grand-daughter is going to Disney World with her Choral group. I would like to give her a couple gift cards to pay for food. Can she just present her gift cards at a quick service restaurant and they deduct the amount from her card like the disney rewards card? I have never used one at Disney World.
Please help.....

It works in the same way as other gift cards do for stores or restaurants.
So yes it would deduct the amount from the card.
Just an FYI though I bet she will want to mobile order food if she's going to quick service locations that offer it and you can't use a gift card if you do that only credit cards or dining plan credits.

She can use a gift card. I do it most of the time as that is how I save for dining. On your receipt it shows the amount left on the gift card.
