Disney gift card to pay for Princess Half?

Does anyone know if you can use a Disney gift card (the one from Sam's) to pay for the Princess Half Marathon? Thanks so much!

I'd be surprised if you could use a gift card because you have to go through Active.com to register for the race.

Yeah, the registration is not run by Disney per se, so you have to pay.
It's a really fun race, though!!
