Is it true that all(most?) Disney Stores can fuse smaller gift cards together to create one lump sum gift card?

I'm tempted to get a bunch of $50 gift cards from Target with my Red Card to get the 5% off, to pay for my AP.

I heard of stores being able to do this, but I don't know if it was only a select few.

When you say Disney Stores are you referring to the Disney Stores in malls throughout the country or are you talking about the stores operated by Disney in DW?

I don't know about the stores in the malls, but the stores in DW will not let you buy one gift card using a bunch of smaller gift cards. You can use multiple gift cards to buy a single item like an AP.

I don't think there is . I got a bunch of them and called to see if it can be done and was told they couldn't do it over the phone but could in the stores... However if you research online a little bit you will see most couldn't get it done either. But a few did have success.

The new Disney Savings account allows you to put in all GC numbers and then call to pay on the trip, or see if if it will work for the AP purchase. You give the CM your account number and how much you want to deduct.

The mall Disney Stores can not do it. They don't allow you to pay for a gift card with a gift card and that is what you are doing when you "combine" them.
