For those that don't have the 1,000 points needed for the $10 Disney gift card, they have a $5 Disney STORE gift card for 500 points. Not as good, of course, but still better than most of the junky trinkets they offer.

You may want to call your local store to confirm that you can use a gift card to buy a different type of gift card, and letting them know it's a gift card from their reward program.......but, in my personal un-official opinion, I don't see why not. I got the $10 gift card from Movie Rewards a few months back and on it's face it's indistinguishable from the others I have....but I haven't used it yet so I don't know if there is something coded into it. Seems like there shouldn't be, but again, don't know officially so I don't want to lead you astray, lol.
Worst case...you buy $5 of trinkets to take on your trip as "Tink gifts"
