Disney Gift Card Deals

I work at a computer all day here in my office, so I'll occasionally check online weekly ads when I'm not busy. I saw the guaranteed $25 list of games I posted a couple pages back, and checked to see what they were selling for at Gamestop, which was less. A combination of high trade in vales at BB, and sales on the same games at Gamestop make this process work. Since the "up to $25 on select titles" was on the weekly flyer, the values would probably hold until Saturday. The sales on the preowned games at Gamestop could possibly end on Wednesday (when they release ads/change sales) which would kill the churn.

I'm not sure about your son. I would not think so, because they do need your identification in order to process trade ins.

Thanks for posting about the two new games to trade in. I also made a few mistakes but overall came out a few dollars ahead (and only have about $125 in GS GC left -- yay!).

I am on the fence about whether I will keep any GS GC going forward. On one hand, it is possible to profit from the process. On the other hand, it's pretty time-consuming (at Best Buy I got stuck in line behind a guy who was having issues with his phone, and spent 20 mins just waiting at customer service). To convert from GS to eBay requires waiting in three lines -- one at GS and two at BB (customer service to trade in and then the check out line to purchase eBay). Also, it seems unlikely that any one GS will have three used copies of the same game for the same system. There are three GS stores within five miles of my house, and even after visiting all three, I only had three copies of the Rainbow Six PS game (I had two copies of the same game for Xbox and two copies of the Samurai Warriors). Not sure if all areas are the same, but I don't think I can count on being able to find the maximum number of possible trade ins.

Also, a weird thing about GS is that used games can be returned within 7 days but new games cannot be returned (at least this is what one GS guy told me). This is the opposite of what I would have expected.

Still, I am super thankful to JKalai and the others who have posted about this process for converting from GS to BB. It definitely is, at least for me, the best option for the GS GCs I already have.

Was it because of the Samurai Warriors game? It gets really weird because there is a game called Samurai Warriors 4 and Samurai Warriors 4: EMPIRES, and then there is a game called Dynasty Warriors: Empires, haha. Make sure you purchase the Samurai Warriors 4: EMPIRES. That is the game that will net you profit.

The cover should look like this for those of you that are thinking about trading:

You can return new games, but they have to be unopened. It's pretty standard in electronic stores because people would just buy games, beat them, and return them for the money back.

Ok I tried 3 WG in the last 5 days and they all told me the same thing. I even went to the one that allowed it just 3 weeks ago. She said whoever sold it shouldn't have allowed it. The two times I got shot down today they specifically asked me what form of payment I'd be using. Now I'm stuck with $300 in WG gift cards.

I figure I can use them for back to school supplies and other odds and ends but they're a little further than the grocery store (about 5 minutes further, which living in Orange County, CA where everything is walkable is a far distance :crazy2:).

For those who still have ebucks to spend. I had $19.50 left and saw there was a $50 Kohls gift card with $10 bonus and free shipping through Cardency. I know this doesn't help churn but still seemed a pretty good deal to me to use the rest of my ebucks before they expired.

You can order ten $100 Disney gift cards at a time from target if they are in stock. Many of us try to spread out our purchases since target has banned some buyers (saying they are resellers). No clue on Sam's club.

Is that what you meant by use?
Yes! Thank you!

There is a notation on the Disney gift card at Target's website that says "You cannot use a Target giftcard to purchase this card". Has that always been there or is this a new policy?

Found 3 each of the siege six Xbox/ps4. Paid $129 with the Pro membership and got $150 in BB and immediately turned into Disney. No Samurai at the 2 in my neighborhood. I even got an email that I got a $5 reward ;). On top of that found 2 funkos DD has been wanting for $5 each, some Infinity on clearance and AntMan used part of the b2g3 sale so yay! for @JKalai for the great tip. Got me some more Disney, video game accessories, and Xmas out of the way!

Although, I did get asked at both GS and BB what I was doing worth all those copies :-|. I just said gifts at GS and said I just pick them up when I see them at BB - where a cust svc guy (wasn't my cashier) was like you can be banned for trading like that and I inquired the policy which he read and looked at my stuff shrugged and walked away.

Apparently it's new but you still can buy Disney gift cards with Target gift cards.

Anyone else in Southern California have issues with Walgreens? Or anyone in Southern California NOT have issues with Walgreens so I can venture out to your store if it's worth the drive? :o

So, I just bought a $100 Delta airlines gift card from PPDG. No issues. I used two $50 eBay cards. I went to buy another one the exact same way. When I plugged in the gift card number, only $14.20 was taken off the total. These are cards from Sears, and when I check the balance on eBay, it says that there is $50 on it. It happened with two separate eBay cards. I ran through my purchase history, and I've used $546 in eBay gift cards since June 3. Nothing before that. Thoughts?

Yesterday and this AM I purchased Disney Gift Cards on Targetdotcom using Target GC I purchased at Giant Eagle AND Shop N Save (getting 1.18 and 1.20 cents off per gallon respectively at two different gas station companies). No problems. And one of my Disney cards from Target arrived a day earlier than noted, which was good. Fingers crossed I get my recent orders a day earlier as well....I noted the date of final payment incorrectly on my calendar (I know, after months and months of research, thinking, churning, etc etc, I could kick myself) so I am really pushing it. I will feel much better in a few days.

Still no problems with BB in my area, FYI...Pittsburgh metro area.

I just had a private seller on eBay cancel my GC order (claiming something about the USPS having ruined the package). Anyway, I had paid fully in eBay Bucks, but it appears he refunded me in full to my PayPal account.

Does anyone have experience with an order fully paid on eBay Bucks being cancelled? I just don't want the redemption period to end and suddenly find out I'm out the amount that was refunded.

Found online: When you pay for an item with eBay Bucks and you end up returning that item, your eBay Bucks will be deposited back into your account with a 21 day extension to spend them. Click here to learn more. If you don't get your Bucks back by the end of the week, feel free to send us an email at eBayBucksTeam@ebay.com and we'll be happy to help you out. Thank you for being a valued eBay Bucks member.

Thanks, @Lain! Much appreciated.

I'm not sure why I honestly didn't even think of googling - apparently I'm not very good at solving my own problems.

NP. I recently had a problem with an eBay refund, too. I paid for an item with eBay GCs, item arrived damaged via UPS, seller was insured so made a claim against UPS and got reimbursed for the value of the item and shipping, and seller and I agree to a full refund to me. PP processes the refund because eBay GCs (and in your case eBay Bucks) payments require PP. When the refund finally cleared, I saw the amounts from the GCs were credited to eBay Gift Card Services. I find out later that the funds are credited back to the original form of payment (the GCs). Stupid me, who used to keep track of every GC number kind of fell behind and got sloppy when I started churning in higher volume and frequency -- and I no longer had the original GC numbers! Since PP and eBay are now separate companies, and eBay GCs are eBay's responsibility now, PP stopped keeping records of eBay GCs redeemed through PP after March 2016. It took several calls with eBay customer service, follow up emails with the Gift Card Team, and about 2 weeks for eBay to look up/provide me with the original (or new?) GC numbers. The whole process took about a month. So a bit off topic, but let this be a warning to always record your GC numbers somewhere; you never know when you'll need them again.

I had an order refunded to me that I paid for entirely in eBay eBucks. The gc I purchased never showed up. It was just under $500. I had to go through the resolution center. Ultimately eBay issued a full refund to my PayPal account- cash not gc. I've already transferred it to my bank account.

Just wanted to say that last night I placed an order for a $100 Disney GC from Target paying for it with 4 different target GC's and I received an email this morning that it has shipped already. So I guess even though there is notation that you can't pay for this item with GC's it is still working.

How many days does it take to get delivery of the Disney gift cards from target? Wondering if I have enough time before my trip. TIA.
