We just got back and needless to say had a great time. There were a couple of things however that really struck me as exceptional. I would give Disney an A+ for

1. WOC picnic dinners - what a great idea! You don't have to deal with the fastpass craziness and if you are on a budget you can still get to see the show. I would have paid $15 for the ticket alone but you also get a meal that tastes good! I'm glad that Disney made an option that everyone can take advantage of. They need to come up with something similar for F!.

2. The lockers by GRR are definitely another A+. Of course we wanted to ride but we didn't want our cameras or other belongings to get wet. We also didn't want our sneakers to get wet so we packed flip flops. Having a free locker right next to the ride is amazing customer service.

So what things do you think deserve an A+?

I didn't know the lockers by GRR were free. Perhaps I'll actually ride this one day then. I always couldn't ride cause of my camera gear.

They have the F! preferred seating. While expensive, it is better than any WoC option right now IMO.

Glad you had a good time!

I'll give them an A+ for product replacement. Spilled your popcorn? No problem...let me fill it again. Lost or popped your balloon? Here, have another.

Also, if you spill, any one of the maintenance crew for a wipe. They are awesome thick effective towels.

For DH and I DL gets an A+ for their consistent quality, reliability and detail. DL is like an old friend who always makes you feel welcome! :goodvibes

And this is probably even too obvious to mention but Disney definitely gets an A+ for Fastpasses. DH and I always cannot believe how long people will stand in line for an attraction that has a FP option.

I would give an A+ for their celebration buttons at City Hall, be if Just Married, celebrating an Aniversary, Family Reunion, 1st Visit, Celebrating, Birthday - you name it! Wearing those and getting special wishes from every CM you encounter and people you have never met just makes for an amazingly special experience.

I agree! DD loves them, no matter what the reason, and this last trip DH was so proud of his Just Graduated one that when it got lost he actually went and gt another!

yep all the lockers by GRR are free for one hour.. how cool is that? an that is why they are there, to keep your stuff that can't get! i think it's awesome!!

i give an A+ to them not stopping me at the turnstyles when i am grabbing like 20 some park maps to send out!! and i also give the wine bar at the winery in DCA an A+ cause those cm's obviosuly they know me, but the fact is that they get my drink ready and on standby as soon as they see me in line!! now that is service!!

They get an A+ for the First Aid room. They were so nice in providing bandaids for my blister and a cup of Calomile (sp?) lotion for the heat rash my daughter
developed. Then when DS7 had his toe stepped on after the fireworks, they cleaned up the blood and checked to make sure it wasn't broken. They were wonderful and it didn't cost anything for our two visits.

I've been surprised at some of the medical treatment I have seen. We were queued for WoC and this person was like getting a full on checkup while sitting on the bench. I have no idea what was wrong but, damn.

Have a ? about these....do you need to bring your own lock?

We had the opportunity to go to DLP/Paris in June and let me just say there's no place like home!
A+ on cleanliness and customer service!
(BEAUTIFUL park tho)
my young 4yo nephew was messing around in line at one of the rides in Fliks Fun Faire and wiped himself out. His mom said that a cm was on it so fast! and since he had bloodied his clothes they gave the kid new shorts and shirt in addition to medical attention so that they didnt have to leave the park!

No. The machine prints out a ticket with a numeric re-entry code that you use to open the locker. It's just like the lockers that you rent in the parks, except that you are only charged if you exceed the time limit.

That is so nice!! We had an awesome experience with the First Aid Station, too! They are just so nice and helpful. Last time we went to DL, my son developed an ear infection the night before (its always in the middle of the night when you're out of town, geesh!). We had already called his ped back home and gotten his antibiotics, etc, but they weren't helping with the pain. I thought being in the park would be enough to distract him, but he was miserable. So I went to the First Aid to see if I could buy meds there. The doc gave us chewable children's tylenol for free and said we could come back and have him lie down on a cot with a hot pad for his ear if he didn't feel any better. I totally wasn't expecting that!!

DLR gets an A+ for having the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in a theme park! For a mother of a toddler that has to go "potty" quite often..it is a godsend!!!:thumbsup2

I also agree with the bathrooms being clean. Every time I use the bathrooms in the park, they are always clean.

Disney gets an A+ for having a nurse on staff. While staying at the DLH I called down to the front desk to ask about nearby hospitals as it became evident my DH was going to have to go in for his back issues when he began losing sensation in his right foot. They told me about the nurse, who called our room within minutes and actually offered to come to the room and check him out but with the symptoms we needed to go to a hospital so we didn't ask him to come but he was completely willing. I thought it was above and beyond. Plus, the front desk had a map and list of area hospitals and pharmacies.

ITA!!! And for the most part the only time I have to wait is if I need the changing table!!

Other Disney A+:

Baby Center: for diaper changes, bottle warming, quiet nursing, and "little pottys" for those under 42"!!

Camera Shop: for charging your cameras when you forgot the cord at home and downloading your memory card when you don't want to buy another one.

For free ice water and allowing you to fill up your water bottles for free as well.

For calling my daughters Princess when asking them to scoot over on the ride seat, and for calling them Princess "insert name here" when they are wearing a shirt with their name on it.
