Disney Game Kingdom Online - to much like VMK?

I just found this web site on the Disney site

While it does have some different features. It seems alot like VMK but for the younger crowd. I'm a bit nervous with the closing of DLR's VMK place and finding this site. Is VMK in danger of closing? I doubt it but like I said, I am a tad nervous.

Has anyone joined yet? Can you give us any information about it?

Looks like you pay to play this one.In the about tab it says you get many features for the same great price!

I don't really like the look of the game and VMK will remain stronger due to the free to play games. You have your own character to customize on VMK whereas on that game there is not.

Because one is very popular yet free. If they manage to create the same appeal for another game that is NOT free, then they make money. Boatloads...

Very Clever. But I still Love VMK.

I've tried the game just to know what it was about

I dont think VMK is in danger of closing because of this game.

This game is more like if Disney had created and put together a bunch of games like : "Disney's Timon & Pumbaa's Jungle Games", "Draw with ...", ..

That is I think a nice little game for kids to learn with Disney but nothing to do with VMK except the fact that it is Disney.

i saw that myself a while back and the same thots crossed my mind too! i was like oh no! its a mini-me version of VMK! lol
but i think really, as the others said, it really is just another option and VMK is not in danger of closing. besides, they do make money on it cos fans buy the collectors cards for the "free" items in the game.

It does remind me of what VMK really is though. Just a marketing ploy from the Disney Corporation.

No it wont close, VMK is very popular there are thousands of players. Why would Disney close it.

All this is is the old Disney Blast, repackaged - there are hundreds of downloadable games on there and it is not as interactive as VMK
