Disney "funny money"!

I have been hanging out over on the Creative DISign boards a lot lately and when I found this I knew I had to post it here! I know since I nearly missed the thread, that a lot of you probably haven't seen it either. Such a super cute idea, and a great way to get your kids to do chores !!

The only downside is that they've got Cinderella's castle instead of Sleeping Beauty's but a small price to pay, I say.

I thought it was really cute too! It's much better then the Disney Dollars because they aren't dollar for dollar (can you imagine if kids lost Disney Dollars? ) but still Disney themed. GREAT for "reward" money.

While I believe ACTUALLY doing this for DH is a bit patronizing, I think that it would be absolutely hilarious to print these out along with a "Honey-Do" list and suggest that the funny money be his "reward". Boy would I like to be a fly on the wall for that one.

Great idea...but I have a request....Disney coins...I can't afford to pay my kids that much in Disney Dollars....they'd break me before we even left!

What we do sometimes when going for a larger item, treat, or place is have a week or two on posted and at the end of the "time frame" you set up there is a disney 1, 5, 10, etc.

You can work it so that it's equivelant to the dollar amount at the end of the time frame

We put a little picture of what they are working towards at the end of the 1 or 2 week time frame to remind us of our goal

So cute - I want to reward myself! Maybe I've lost it, but that sure looks like Sleeping Beauty castle to me. The one on the bottom left? It is the pink one, which I thought belonged to Aurora.
