Chef's is basically the same as BOG just better bread. There is a bit of cheese on the bread unlike BOG but they are pre made so not hot and melted on the outer bread. Have not tried at Les Halles but would guess it would be the same as Chef's. Chef's version:

Sadly, and much to my husband's dismay, the croque monsieur is no longer available at Chefs De France. They've done away with the lunch menu completely and serve the dinner menu at both meals now. The desserts have changed as well, no more of those little cream puffs swimming in a sea of delicious chocolate.

Oh, well that makes that decision easy. The Profiteroles au chocolat and the lobster bisque were what kept me coming back each trip.

You can still get the lobster bisque. I'm really disappointed in the menu change, that was such a nice, relatively light, lunch. I'm keeping my ADR for lunch just for the bisque and the atmosphere of the restaurant, and I guess I'll get the salmon.

Flower & Garden Festival 2016 - Lotus House - China

Gaoli Beef Bun. This was amazing, by far the best food from this years flower and garden festival!

Dragon Pearl - Beer, Honey, Cream and Tapioca Pearls. This was tasty, but I am definitely not a fan of Tapioca Pearls!

I thought the pearls in the Dragon Pearl were odd. They were bigger and denser than any boba I've ever had before. And there were a LOT of them. I did like the drink though!

I took a lot of food pictures on my recent trip in April and am finally ready to start posting some. Lets see if I can make this work.

Galactic Chicken Salad from Backlot Express, DHS. This was actually pretty good. The big tortilla chip is stamped with pics of R2-D2.

"The Wave" was a big food find for me this trip. Here's my (first) breakfast plate. Scrambled eggs, a bit of smoked salmon, pineapple, berries, sausage link, bacon, sweet potato pancake with honey pecan butter, Mickey waffle with regular butter, oatmeal with a bit of brown sugar, and a little syrup in the white pitcher for my waffle. Loved this so much, I booked a Wave dinner for later int he week (those pics will come in a later post).

My favorite, must-do QS meal. Lamb Shawarma Platter from Tangierine Cafe with Iced Mint Tea!

And I went to Narcoossee's for the first time. I enjoyed this a lot and would happily return.

Aunt Debby's Lovely Romaine Salad

Filet Mignon (medium) with Bonianto Idaho Mash and Broccolini. Sauce on the side. I liked this red wine based sauce better than the one at Yachtsman, but still just dipped a bit; the steak really didn't need it.

And the legendary Almond Crusted Cheesecake (sans any cherry product on the plate) - delish as expected! (Although my top dessert for this trip will be featured in a later post.)

I read you can get the same lobster bisque at Boulangerie Patisserie. I don't know if it is the same, but it is an alternative.
