After listening to several recent podcasts and being in chat I have realized that I like many love Disney for all the different and unique food choices. I herd Pete say it "always comes back to food" and similar from Kevin and John. So do I have "issues" LOL or does everyone enjoy there dining as much as the parks. Or do I need a twelve step program for Disney fool.:rotfl2:

We're especially that way! :woohoo: We do a lot of our park planning in conjunction of where we want to dine for the week (with the occasional exception). If we have special things we want to do, like take advantage of AK evening EMHs or go to one of the hard ticket events, then we will book our dining desires to coincide. Works very well for us.... Is there a smilie with a knife and fork?

I would answer this but I am making a spreadsheet of all of the places that I will eat at on my next WDW trip

Does the fact that every trip revolves around where I'm going to eat that day mean I'm the same as u? The first thing I plan is where to eat, each person in the party gets to pick a place to eat, we always plan on sit down meal a day, we eat, eat and eat more. We are sure to be in certain areas during snack times to eat....My name is Don...I have a problem....

Yep, that's basically how it works for us, too :thumbsup2

It's all about the food popcorn::

Add me to the foodies ranks! We're doing the FREE DDP next month. I've been looking forward to it the most since I booked the trip. Trying to lose at least 10 pounds before I go. I'm off to the treadmill now! Seriously. Gotta tread for at least 30 minutes. Might as well do it while I watch the local news.

We get so disappointed when we're served way below average food at way above average prices. For the most part, Disney holds itself to the highest standards in everything it does. So when it's food falls well below those standards, we get disappointed.

The dining choices at DisneyWorld are certainly a major reason why we love to visit there so much. We always eat at least 1 TS a day and have several favorites that we return to over and over again.
While I love going to DisneyLand, and it's much closer for us, the lack of great TS places is very disapointing.

Here is something even crazier. I changed from the CR to POP due to the awesome food court amongst other things. I have never stayed at a value before and I was very impressed with the food court at POP. We loved everything we had there. The tie die cheesecake and slurpees top the list. They also had a turkey panini (sp) sandwich that was out of this world. I get to try LeCellier this trip for the first time and a repeat trip to Chefs De France. I am planning everything around our ADR's. I thought I really had a problem but it seems everyone can relate to me. he he he.:lmao:

I have to admit that I am a foodie, but please don't hurt me...I have never had a table meal at Disney. It's all been CS. I was a kid and my mom had no clue that I could meet a character. Sad, but true ~ she didn't plan squat! I am looking forward to enjoying lots of TS during our trip in July. I'm planning somewhat based on food type (not necessarily menu listings). I can't wait! Planning on going to Boma twice, Le Cellier, drinking around the world...

I think I need to be added to the DIS 12 step program too.

I love the variety of food available in WDW, but the quality is quickly declining. Just a few years ago it was very easy to have an excellent meal on property, but it is becoming more and more difficult to enjoy eating on property when you know the food is not as good as it was in the past.

I would say everyone on this site loves food with all our chats and threads always going to cake, nuts, chocolate,or PIE?!!!

:rotfl2: I've already done my next WDW trip...I'm working on my next, next trip.:rotfl2:
