My husband and I are going to WDW at Christmas time and we are interested in using the Disney Florist to have a "little" Christmas tree in our room. Has anyone ever used this service? We really want to have a tree, but we need all info from our friends here! Thanks!

We've never had a Christmas tree but we have used Disney Florist and I have mixed feelings about their gift baskets. I must say though that there presentation is hard to beat.... our basket was GORGEOUS! I was just a little let down with the variety of goods in our basket. I know it says "items are subject to change" on their site, but they changed just about everything except the champagne and were stuck with mostly cracker and pretzel products. I can't even imagine how stunning a Christmas item would be from them though. Good luck!

I appreciate your input. I am still on the fence, and I need more info on designs, size, cost and shipment to my home. Hopefully I will get more responses before we leave on Nov. 28th!

I have done it at halloween last year and it was amazing, but I also custom made my baskets, if you call them and speak to a dream maker (of whatever they are called) you can pick everything you want down to the type of wine. I found it was cheaper to make my own, they also have things that they don't show on the website and they can work with you. We are going this year for Christmas and they have worked with me to customize my tree and make it a little more unique. They are very helpful, it is a big expense but it is vacation and it will make it even more special. Don't forget that for an additional $50.00 you can ship the tree back to your house. However, I just want the ornaments, so I will nix the tree but it will be nice to have for the week that we are there!

I have used them several times and have always been thrilled with their designs.
I usually call them and ask what items can be included in a gift basket. Last year I ordered a Mickey Christmas Stocking for my DB (43) and asked to have the "kiddie" items, like lollies replaced with other things. We went over what was available and he had lots of goodies he liked in his stocking.
Go for it - they are a bit on the pricey side but SO worth every penny of it!
