Disney floral delivery to campers?

On our last trip I had flowers delivered to my mom's room from Disney Floral and Gifts. They were put in her room while we were all out to dinner. We were staying at Pop Century.

If I were to order something from them to be delivered to Fort Wilderness, what would happen? I assume they can't deliver it to my camper if we aren't there, they would have no way to put it inside unless I left the door unlocked.

I tried searching through their FAQ's and the dis forums and don't see it discussed anywhere. Their website clearly states that the in-room celebrations will be delivered to any Disney resort. Anybody know?

1) Disney Floral does not deliver flowers to the room.
. . . they do go into rooms if there is a decoration/celebation package
. . . for flowers and gifts, they are not permitted
2) The flowers/gifts are delivered to the Front Desk.
3) A FRONT DESK RUNNER takes them to the room.
. . . this is done usually twice per day and afternoon shifts
. . . if not busy, the RUNNER might make a special trip
. . . but, the RUNNER does have other duties "in the Front Desk Back Room"
4) For a campsite, you will get a notification of the item or celebration.
5) You can pickup the item at Front Desk or have it delivered when the RUNNER has time.
6) For celebrations, a time needs to be worked out - - - if they agree to do the camper.

EDIT: Sometimes, the Floral will not do campers, as they are are afraid of liability or claims of damage.

Okay, so if I don't order a celebration, but just order items, then I can have them delivered to our camper if we have a time that works out mutually between ourselves and the runner? And if we can't work the time out, then we have to go pick up the items at the front desk?

1) Sometimes the RUNNER will set a time.
2) But, usually, deliveries are "worked in".
. . . scheduling a time gets tough
. . . the RUNNER has other duties that might delay the route time
. . . if the RUNNER is late, the guest complains (usually LOUDLY)
. . . if the RUNNER is early, he/she waits for the guest
. . . frequently, the guest is busy elsewhere and doesn't even show
3) If you have an item for a campsite, it is best to simply retrieve it from the Front Desk.
. . . you can also call the Front Desk and see if the RUNNER is available right then
. . . if so, you might be able to arrange a delivery at that moment
. . . then, you just wait 10-20 minutes for the RUNNER to show up

NOTE: We often have items, such as flowers, delivered to The Fort for guests. I would
say in most cases, the guest comes to the Front Desk for the item(s).

Good to know- thank you so much!!!

One more question that I bet you know the answer to- I'm ordering a custom cake from the Contemporary Bakery. My understanding is that I pick it up at Trails End- do you know where exactly I will need to pick it up? It will have a mousse filling, I'm assuming they will keep it in the fridge for me?

. . . just go to the podium
. . . the SEATER (aka, hostess) will get it for you

It will have a mousse filling,
. . . this is Disney
. . . are you sure you spelled "Mouse" correctly?

I'm assuming they will keep it in the fridge for me?
. . . yes
