I can't believe they listened. Where Disney Files used to be about 5% DVC and 95% general Disney information, it is now about 75% DVC and 25% general Disney information. I just got the Summer 2012 issue today. Anyone else get it and see the difference? Thank you, Claire Bilby, Now just get rid of Ryan March (waste of page two).

I like it better too. I still think there are articles that are too long; I'd rather read a lot of short and sweet info. I had no interest in the Cars article, but that's just me.

I like seeing anything Disney in my mailbox.

I'd like to see more information on the different resorts and perks and less about Disney old timers.

I thought it was a much better issue than previous editions. I enjoyed Claire Bilby's column very much. Seeing the new updates for SSR was great. I do like the articles by Marty Sklar-but I guess that's what they mean by having to appeal to so many different interests.

I think Ryan March is funny. I didn't get the new issue yet, but I really liked Claire's column in the last issue. I felt like she cared about the members and seemed honest.

I'm looking forward to part 2 of Marty Sklars article...I also enjoyed the info on Bob Gurr and would like to get his book. I'm till not sure if I'm going to like the new decor at SSR...I'll have to see it in person.

I loved this issue. Read it cover to cover upon arrival (with the exception of the Cars article, not my thing).

I like Ryan March! Definitely do NOT see his articles as a waste of page 2. I like his articles, love his humor and look forward to reading his opening article each issue.

I also love hearing anything about Disney history, so I really enjoyed Part 1 of Marty's article and look forward to Part 2.
I especially like reading updates on any DVC resorts, and I also enjoy any behind the scenes info, whether it be general Disney, or DVC.

I think Claire is doing well so far and I look forward to the future of Disney Files and DVC of course!

Reading it always makes me wish I was there!

DH read it yesterday, but he didn't mention anything about it at all.

Mark me down as a for this issue. I think we may take the journey to Disneyland to go to Cars Land....my kids loved the article.

Now if I could just get them to publish a picture I send...

I'm thrilled with it. Of course, I'm a new member. We have a spontaneous trip coming up to DLR (never been before) due to my wife's work trip, so we are making a vacation out of it. The Carsland expansion is a big deal out there, and we are thrilled to be able to see it. Even more so than the fantasyland expansion. After reading complaints and such over the past year, I feel like maybe I bought in at the right time while things are showing an upswing

I'd like to see an article highlighting our long term DVC resort cast members, with a different resort featured every month. Like the long time servers at Olivia's, etc.

I agree. That would be nice. Don't just show the new and improved. Show the long time favorites.

I really enjoy Ryan March. His play on words are in the grand Disney tradition. Very clever.

Put me in the camp in favour of a strong hand keeping Mr. March in line. The occasional piece is bearable, but his tone and humour (which are not appreciated by all) had permeated the entire magazine.

The magazine is more informative, better presented and far more professional than it was in the past. I agree with a PP that further refinements are needed. This mag has a built-in audience just craving for information. Some of us would be happy to see better design too.

We, too, have noticed the great improvement! Did like the Carsland article and we will be making the trek to see it in person.

Have enjoyed Ms. Bilby's columns. Perhaps it's just me, but she seems more attuned to the membership.

Well... The envelope was nice! That's all we got- an empty envelope. Not sure what happened to the magazine? Maybe it was so good the mailman "borrowed" it. I have contacted MS asking them to mail another to us. Sure hope they do after all the positive comments on here
