Just arrived from a 7 Day Fantasy Eastern cruise in a category 00V. This was our third time on the Fantasy and our third time in concierge. Please let me know if you have any questions.

What did you think of Tortola?
Meh. We may have enjoyed it more had we done a shore excursion, but we have a 4.5 year old and a 1.5 year old, so none of them looked that interesting. We walked around for 45 mins then got back on the ship.

Since this was your third time in concierge, you obviously think that the upgrade is worth it. What do you get out of concierge that makes it worth it to you? I am thinking about this myself and was wondering what makes it worth it to others.

We are on the Saturday Fantasy EC! Do they have Pomegranate Minute Maid Lite on the drink stations on the deck? What movie was showing in the Walt Disney Theatre on Pirate Night?

We were on the Eastern Caribbean cruise on August 13th this year and a large part of our group did the Baths excursion in Tortola. They all loved it!!!

We also just returned! Loved Tortola! We did a tour we booked on our own with Patouche. Did a snorkeling stop 1st. Was awesome until DH saw a shark! Yikes! Thankfully he wasn't interested in us! Our guide took us to a local place for lunch "De Loose Mongoose". Very good and the staff was awesome. The waitresses kids kept us entertained! Loved them! Then it was off to the Baths! All I can say is incredible!! So beautiful, interesting and fun! Kids loved exploring every nook and cranny!

It makes the vacation a bit more hassle free. No worrying about not getting the dining reservations you want, stressing about the availability of the cabana, even getting on/off the ship is much faster. The lounge is also a nice oasis on the boat. I'm not sure that we would be as enthusiastic about DCL if we weren't in concierge.

We sail later in Sept. on the same cruise in a OOV on deck 12. Our first time on the Fantasy. How was the cabin as per comfort, convenience and quiet? Any comment on your St. Thomas time? Any special advice for a Fantasy concierge rookie?

Any new rumors on what the dry dock may consist of?
We have a small tot when we are cruising again in 2017 on the Fantasy. We agree that excursions are tough for this crowd. We went in 2012 on the Fantasy and pretty much stayed on the ship and had a great time. So I hope you did to.

What was your favorite meal this trip? and how was your server team?

Cabin was fine, we have done the Fantasy twice prior in a one bedroom suite. We found the room a little tight with our two toddlers (and all of their stuff). The concierge lounge was surprisingly busy during peak periods (right before meals), but there was never an issue with finding a seat.

Make sure to disembark with the concierge group. I think they bring people down at 730a and 745a. They hold the line exiting the boat and you can go right to customs. I'd also make sure to have ongoing dialog with the concierge hosts. They can fulfill lots of requests (I overheard someone that had a craving for Cheerios and they had a host run off the ship in St. Thomas

Server team was just OK. Not sure why, but our server was a bit slower than others, which made it tough with toddlers.

We generally stayed on the boat, with the exception of watch shopping in St. Thomas and a cabana on Castaway Cay.

We were on the ship with you.

Q: Do they have regular coffee (like Folgers) in the concierge lounge? Do they have iced tea in the concierge lounge?
