This will be our 3rd cruise (2012 Fantasy Eastern Caribbean; 2014 Eastbound Transatlantic, 2016 Eastern Caribbean) and 2 weeks prior to our 10 year wedding anniversary. It will also be our almost 7 month old's first cruise! I love crafting and this fish extender stuff just tickles me pink! I did it on our Transatlantic cruise and had a blast, and darn it was a good workout walking the various decks back and forth!
We had a lot of great stuff in our fe s on previous cruises, Im not so crafty wish I was!

Lol. I just googled a video of 5522, I didn't realize they had rooms with that setup! That looks like it will be great!
I hope we don't miss a balcony! but am excited to give this cabin a try!

so where is everyone travelling from.? We are from Hamilton Ontario Canada, usually fly out of Buffalo airport soooo much cheaper and only an hour or so away, we plan on spending some time before cruise at the parks then flying home right after the cruise. Im thinking a stay at the grand Floridian for maybe 3 nights before cruise would be nice, never stayed there before and would like to try it out. Im so looking forward to my upcoming trip end of November staying at the yacht club for 7 nights but more excited for the cruise, so hopefully this next 18 months or so flys by

We are traveling from Pensacola, FL (in the panhandle). The drive takes us about 7 1/2 hrs to Disney World. We will probably go for a couple of days before the cruise. Not quite sure where we will be staying. Thinking about the Polynesian (never stayed here before) or Animal Kingdom Lodge (our favorite resort, so far).

We are from Orlando which makes it nice when we go on the cruises. I'm hoping i don't miss the verandah too. I think i'll be okay. I like the extra room, 2 tv's and the 2 port holes. The only problem I see is having 1 bathroom instead of the split one that the other rooms have. We also do "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas" each year and stay at one of the Disney resorts for a couple of days.

Kansas- we will fly in the day before.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread and just share a pdf document through a private conversation confidentially with just those who want to join in!

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is completely up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM (conversation).

PLEASE review the Cruise Meet Policy regarding Cruise Meet and Fish Extender programs. -http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3353477

Enjoy!

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if you need any help getting started!

We are driving from southern Pennsylvania, about 15 hours. We drove last year and figured what we save on a flight is well worth the cramped legs!

This cruise feels Soo far away I can't even stand it!
I'm trying to focus on our land trip this November but let's be honest,...we really prefer to cruise!

yes I agree! So relaxing compared to the parks! We love the parks but cruising tops it!

Im not very computer wise so will leave the Fe exchange to someone else, but we will be interested in joining up once someone agrees to take charge! is anyone else interested in a cabin crawl? Have yet to do one but I think that would be something interesting to do!

just want to thank FeFeMj for keeping a list, your awesome!
No problem!

Does anyone have any other vacations they are counting down to before this cruise happens?

I don't have anything big planned before this, but I am counting down to a 4 day birthday trip to New Orleans in December. I plan on seeing Disney's "Newsies" while I'm there (it's touring for Broadway Across America). I'm trying to decide if I can sneak in a quick trip to Disney World sometime this year (or maybe early next year), but not sure if that is going to work out yet.

Hi Everyone,
I am very new to this type of board but wanted to introduce myself and my family. We will be on the Fantasy Oct 22, 2016 . This will be our 4th Disney cruise and we are super excited. We are new to the Fish Extender thing and trying to learn more about it as it looks like a lot of fun. We have friends coming with us this trip and I think it is something both of our families would enjoy. I would love more information on it if anyone could help me out :)
Thank You

Welcome Melissa and disneyhalloweenfan! so far we don't have the fe set up but I imagine in perhaps a few more months someone will begin the list,. its basically like a secret santa. For any cruisers that join up we will need who is in each cabin gender and ages, also if any allergies or any special occasions also cabin number once you have it. Sometimes since there could be a lot of people wanting to join in we will separate into groups say 15 cabins for example, you would be placed into 1 group so as not to be so overwhelming and expensive plus the extra baggage needed to bring whatever you purchase and receive. Gifts can really be anything from like stickers, highliters, candy, home made crafts really anything at all, there is lots of info here on the boards regarding this. you would deliver your goodies whenever you chose to once onboard, the little hook thing outside the cabin door is what we hang our bags on and there are used to put the little gifts in. You can purchase the bags online or simply make your own even some just use a regular bag to hang but most people just make their own. Some use xmas stockings when its a cruise during xmas holidays. I have made magnets for cabin doors before to give out there are all kinds of ideas on here. The last cruise I was on I think we had the group into a limit of 13 cabins, and we had about 7 groups of 13, so it worked out well as, if we hadn't of split it up that would be just way to many to handle , 13 cabins worked out good. Since this is a Halloween cruise and if you are wanting to do something with a Halloween theme at least you could purchase things this Halloween and be well ahead of the game! Hope I answered your questions and if you need any other info I will be happy to help any way I can, this will be our 5 th Disney cruise and I cant wait to be back on the Fantasy!:sail::cloud9:
