Good afternoon, fellow cruisers,

We have 10 Weeks until we cruise!
 
Its all a bit confusing - having to do 10 posts before you can PM anyone about joining the FE group - and no idea who yo PM about joining, and time is running out.
 

New to the board but would LOVE to be apart of the FE. It will be our 4th cruise but the first time doing the FEs. Just my DH and myself.

Currently, there are 37 rooms participating in the FE. No, we have not broken it up into smaller groups. I don't have the time to keep up with multiple groups. We are cutting off entry to the FE when we hit the 60 days til cruise mark so that people that are being crafty can have plenty of time to create their gifts.

This is our families first Disney Cruise! We will be cruising with our 2 boys, 5 and 8! I have heard and read about the fish extenders but not sure how to sign up. Can someone help???
 
I am trying to join the FB page and FE group but you can't PM anyone until 10 post??!! Is there another way to message or join?
 
My partner and I are super excited about this cruise. We are huge park fans, and try to go every year. Last year we took our first Disney Cruise, and our first cruise! We're hooked! Our room is still GTY, so no clue where we are at yet, but that's ok. There's so much to look forward to! We will be celebrating my 38th birthday on the 24th while we're in St Maarten, and dinner at Palo that night.

Did it get changed from 45 days to 60 days for closing the group? Im already part of the group but just wanted to know when I can safely start doing stuff without more people joining. 60 days is great for me bc its coming up soon :).

Also will you send out a mass email saying its closed, etc?

I'll drop a message here & on the FB group when it is closed.

I couldn't remember what was officially decided, but I think 60 days out is a good place to halt additions so that people have plenty of time to prep. I know a lot of people have busy summer schedules between kids and work and various life events... not to mention, actually prepping for the cruise itself.

We are surprising the kids with this cruise. I just hope I can keep it a secret until we pull up to boat. Disney said they will have Halloween festivities on the Dream for this sail time. Has anyone heard if it will include our cruise too. (I sent a message, hoping to be in time to join the FE)

The basic info:

Everyone will take photos with their own photopass card at the parks before & after the cruise. (This does not include cruise photos.)

Advice - take a picture of the back of your card with your phone or personal camera so that if you lose the card, you don't lose the photos

I will email out the log-in information for Disney's Photopass website once I get home from WDW (probably the weekend of Oct 5/6). We will have 30 days from the day of the first photo upload to do all our edits and add borders.

I will order the discs at that 30 day mark and then will upload the photos to Dropbox once the discs have been received. I will send out email invites to Dropbox to those involved.

We can share one photopass at WDW (not on the cruise).

We will definitely need people to take pictures of the group at the events we do on the ship. For those pics, I have set up a photobucket account (info in the pinned post on the FB page) for picture sharing of that sort.
