Disney Fan here, how will it compare?

 :confused3 :cheer2: :rockband: :space: :worship:

pirate: princess:

;)

Maybe if you hadn't lied about what happened you wouldn't get this reaction. Kinda expected, wouldn't you think?

:moped: :jumping2: :charac2: :charac4: :thewave: :rockband: :drinking1 :cool1:

weeeeee!! THIS IS FUN!

Seriously no way an employee said that

I think you had a little too much :drinking1

You guys are too funny with those emoticons. Looks like IOACentral needs to get some more smilies to keep y'all entertained and out of trouble.
:yo-yo: :love1: :moped: :genie:

Your story is B*** S***. There is NO WAY a Universal employee said that.

I live in a Mobile Home.My wife is in college to get her PHD in english.I have been working the same job for 15 years.
I was in orlando last year when HHN was going on .
We did not go because we put our children's welfare first.
They were 8 and 12 last year. This year we got a babysitter and went without them and we had a great time.
You are mad because it was busy (I guess some people like it and they keep coming back)
You are also mad because someone said something to your child
instead of ignoring your refusal to comprehend You were told children should not be in the park.
Also to your comment about the Mummy employee.
Would it have been better for the employee to let you in with bag
and then when you got to ride and they won't let you on so you have to go back outside to store it and wait in the line again.

P.S. if you need a personal universal employee to lead you by the hand it is called the VIP tour(RIP tour at HHN) and it costs a couple hundred a person so you can have a universal employee of your very own.

This made me angry because I myself am an agent. There is ALWAYS a locker person positioned in the lockers area. We are there for things like that when they happen. I dont understand what you mean by "wouldnt even give us the time of day" when all you had to do was find an attendant and tell them what happened. They would be more than happy to open your locker for you.

About not answering your question at the mummy. Do you know what it is like when you are stuck at greeter trying to stop bags, answer 3 peoples questions, look for height restrictions, listen to the radio, and check express tickets all at the same time? I know people get angry when I dont immediately answer their questions, but I try my best to answer everyone's questions in the order that they came up to me. People dont seem to realize that you should not interrupt someone while they are talking to someone else and expect an immediate answer. now you got me angry, and i've started rambling  :p

That is rediculous! They're is people outside of the park shouting " This is an event not recommend for people under 13 ". Don't think your daughter is sweet and innocent, At 12 no way. Sorry your story just doesn't add up.

Well my husband and I made the comment that US must have put flyers at every mobile home park in Florida by the way the crowds were acting at HHN....I guess we didn't miss the mark, by the way this board is reacting to my well deserved critique of our experience, I guess the mobile home dwellers also review this board as well.

This speaks volumes about YOU. Why are we wasting our time folks?

Kaykels -- we have stayed in both HRH and AKL and they are two of our favorite hotels. We added 3 days at HRH in March to our week at WDW and were very surprised at how much we loved Universal, even though our boys are so little. It IS a very different experience from WDW, but we found it so much more relaxing in that we did not have to plot our itinerary (with FOTL) and we could be back and forth form the hotel to park and park to park in minutes. Everything seemed so manageable and easy. And the atmosphere seemed very "fun" and "young" rather than the "tug at your heart strings", "love America, love the world, love your neighbor, love your family" thing the Disney folks are so good at. Although the Disney corp is getting too shrewd for its own good IMHO -- I agree with the comment above that the merchandising is much more subtle at Universal.

From now on we will always consider our Orlando vacations WDW/USO vacations.

OP?
Other person

This thread sounds like an entirely different Forum. I, personally, hope we aren't headed in that direction.
If I was a moderator I think I'd delete the thread.

Motherfletcher: I couldn't agree more! I've been on IOA Central with our Barry.....this was the first thread I read.......I hate all the squabbling....it's like that "other" forum. Not nice. It's nice on happy on IOA Central....Come and join us over there!!!!!!:D

Sorry -- I edited that. By the time I got to the end I forgot who the original poster was!! thanks for clarifying FLA.

I thought OP was referring to the "original poster"
Could be. OP isn't listed in the Dis abbreviations but I remember that old ballad where they " Get down with OPP"?

OP usually does mean "original poster" and that is what I meant when I typed it, but I was wrong -- SCohen was not the OP. I changed the post.

And Motherfletcher, I know that song, and it is most certainly NOT a "ballad"! LOL!

Yeah thanks ;) and NOW that will be in my head all day!! lol :yo-yo:

OK. Time to put in my 2 cents. This is a forum that LOVES Universal. If you don't like it, don't go back. I think it's asking for trouble to tear it apart here.
