Hello all, my family and I are going to WDW in upcoming august for a 10th year anniversary trip. We are all made about Disney and this will probably be one of our last trips as an original family, with the kids aging and such. We were thinking of making t-shirts for our trip, perhaps for a day or two not the whole thing.
Has anyone done this, and if so would you like to post pictures? I'm looking for ideas on what it could look like?
Tata for now

I was going to say the exact same thing. Monday night I finished all of the shirts for our upcoming trip. I got all of my designs from the DISign board. I don't have pics yet but I know there are some threads on the board with pics.

Good Luck!

Yes, definitely check out the Creative Disigns Board. I have made t-shirts for each day of our trip. Warning, it is addicting! Both the Board and the T-shirt making!

My family did matching shirts last year, and we loved it! We got lots of comments on our shirts. Now, my kids were 7 and 10, and luckily my DH and the kids' godmother were willing to play along, too. The pictures looked great, but the best part was having an easier time keeping track of my "drifty" DD in the park. If she got out of sight and we started calling her name, other people could tell instantly that she belonged with us and steered her our way. Also, the matching shirts helped the kids see the adults in the masses of "big people".

Also, we went with tiedye shirts, then I added iron-on designs to them. I realize tiedye isn't for everyone. I'm honestly not too crazy about it myself. ;) However, tiedye shirts are WAY more visible in crowds than any solid-color shirt. We went with single-tone tiedye shirts from tiedyeusa.com. The shirts are good quality and have held up well. I then put on iron-on designs (using the dark-color transfer paper). Two shirts turned out really well. I'll see if I can find pictures. We put pictures of Crush on a sea-green tie-dye shirt, and then we put the big lion-head design (the one on the poster for the Lion King musical) on a kelly-green tie-dye shirt. BTW, this also meant I didn't feel compelled to buy any souvenier Tshirts! The kids liked the ones we made better than the ones they saw. I was able to make each shirt for about $7.50 apiece -- about $5 for the shirt and $2.50 for the transfer and printer ink.

Go check out the designs board. You will get lots of good ideas there.

Good luck! Personally, I think having matching shirts helped us win two different Dreams on our trip. :cool1:

I will be in the world next week with my DH, DS, Sister and DBIL - we have matching shirts for every day. In fact we have had so much fun planning and hunting down shirts.

Life is tooo short to take it too seriously... just have fun.
