Just signed up for this. Only heard of it yesterday. Is this old news?

I signed up for it about a month ago and have gotten quite a few emails. Some of the deals I can use....for the most part I've not been able to take advantage of many of the deals though.

The last email had 50% off Lady and the Tramp Diamond Edition. That made it around $39.00 on their site....and seriously I've seen the Diamond Editions cheaper on Amazon.

They had a few smaller deals at the bottom of the email too, like the Disney Monorail remote control car for 12.99, Toy Story toys on sale and a snip it about purchasing your Disney tickets for MVMCP at a pre-purchase discount. They also had a FREE Disney Channel App.

I think you get an email a week....and again each week has new stuff so it's definitely worth signing up so you can get in on the different deals.

The pre purchase discount advertised for MVMCP is inaccurate. It has listed several dates that are not included in the pre purchase discount. I emailed Disney regarding this but have not heard back.

I didn't even look at the dates, we don't go to MVMCP so I didn't notice.

I signed up and ordered the Disney Cruise Line Vinylmations. There were two different sets of three and I ordered them both. The shipping was just $2.95 and the sets were just $15.00 each. I ordered them quite a while ago and just got a notification this week that they were being shipped.

I signed up and ordered the Disney Cruise Line Vinylmations. There were two different sets of three and I ordered them both. The shipping was just $2.95 and the sets were just $15.00 each. I ordered them quite a while ago and just got a notification this week that they were being shipped.

I ordered a set of these as well on July 31st... e-mailed them on August 14th to ask whether the order ever went through as it wasn't showing on my account, and they said it did-- but to "please allow up to 10 - 20 business days for delivery after the Deal has closed". Got an e-mail saying it shipped on August 21st (but with no info to track the shipment--frustrating)... and they STILL have not arrived.

Will make me think twice about ordering again. 10-20 business days for delivery?!

I have been getting the emails since they started. I have found out that it basically is a place to find out deals that already exists somewhere within the Disney company, but centrally located and possibly a "just came out" deal. Like that remote control monorail from the disnev store site, the MVMCP advanced ticket sales at the same price as the website. Nice to know what they currently have available as a "deal" within the whole company, but not special codes to use or anything.

It took forever for me to get my order as well. I'm assuming (and I could be completely wrong), that they have X amount of the merchandise/deals. Once they have orders for ALL of the merchandise/deals, they start processing the orders. I noticed that the $32.95 wasn't charged to my account (I paid with a debit card.) until the order was actually processed. My six Vinylmations came soon after the money was taken out of my account.

I'll probably still order from Disney Family Deals if I can get a good deal but I'll keep in mind that it will take some time to receive the merchandise.

That's awesome about the vinylmations.....the outlets in Orlando have quite a few sets available now too. They even have the little keychain vinylmations for the cruise line.
