I couldn't decide the best board for this but since the thought behind it was half the fact that the only cake my dd found she liked was a wopping 35 plus extra for wanting it done differently than exactly as pictured and she still wasn't happy...I consider this a budget idea. lol This cost me One cake mix, one tub of icing, about $3 for flowers from michaels (another $2 worth would have been nice) and about 40 cents for some thule (make the 'dress' look more like the real thing) and a jar of cake sparkles for $3. Sot total cost for the cake was less than $10..used coloring I already had and the doll my dd already had + a tiny baggie and a piece of ribbon I already had to make the bag of pixie dust (filled with cake sparkles and some colored sprinkles, in front of candle)

It reminds me of the Barbie cake my Dear Mother made me when I was 9 yr's old. Way back when.
