Maria

As always great job. Also wanted to let you know, my mom loved the invitation I requested and can't wait to give it to the intended.

Thank you SO much! She will be so thrilled when she sees this. I think I will surprise her with it once we get there.

Maria, Thank You. So, I just need photoshop to get started. Is that right? Is it a worldwide thing or just USA?

The product I use is Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0, but I think any photo editing software should do many of the same things. I don't see why Photoshop wouldn't be available worldwide. :)

Maria, they are awesome!! I can't wait for Matt to wake up and see them. He'll be so excited!

I got an email from Denise:

Those are awesome. Wish I'd seen them earlier to make a shirt. Can you post how much I like them please? On our wat to the airport.
Denise

I'm so happy Denise liked the designs! I'm sure the t-shirts made after the trip will be just as treasured . . . I know my kids just love theirs. Actually, my son DOESN"T want to wear a Mission Space t-shirt I made him (his #1 favourite) because he doesn't want to ruin it. He wants to keep it forever.

Thanks for relaying the message, Marti!!

Dear Miss Maria:

Thank you so much for the t-shirt designs. I love them. I hope my mom can make all of them into t-shirts.

Love,

Matt

Hi Matthew:

I'm glad you like the designs I made. Making all those shirts sounds like an awful lot of work!! Maybe your mom can make some of them into stickers for you so you can personalize some of your books and things. I hope you have a great time!!!

Love, Maria :)

Heidi and Tracy:

What a fab idea Maria. I have been looking all day for a disney hardback notebook to scribble a diary in for the girls. Now i'm just going to get a plain one and use your designs as stickers - if that is ok.

Don't suppose i could be cheeky and ask for Sophie and Amelia in Tinkerbell as well could I?

Going to PC World tomorrow to look for Photoshop!

Maria,

I've been lurking on this thread for a little bit and your designs are AWESOME!!! :worship: I wasn't going to ask for anything specific because my kids names are long, but after I saw what you did for Star Wars weekends I just have to ask - Can you make the name ANTHONY with a star wars theme - darth vader especially?

Love the idea of stickers Maria - but how do you accomplish that? I know how to make a t-shirt, but do they sell special paper to put in my printer, print and then peel the back? Any idea of where I'd get that?

Exactly!! They have sticker paper that is meant for the printer. Print, peel, and stick. I made a bunch for my kids with all their favourite designs. In fact, I even made magnets the same way, using magnet paper made for the printer. I found my sticker paper and magnet paper at our local STAPLES. I would think most large stationery stores would carry these. (It sure beats the heck out of all that ironing!!!! :thumbsup2 )

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!!

Too bad he is sleeping right now - I almost want to wake him up! He is going to love this!

You might find photoshop a little pricey - try photoimpact or adobe elements - these are much more affordable programmes and should have all you need to design shirts :thumbsup2

Does photo impact do the cool lettering?

Checked out the price on the internet for photoshop and would agree a little expensive - what are adobe elements?

Thankyou Maria for the Tinkerbell lettering

Photo Impact does the lettering - I posted a link to a tutorial on the board for someone just yesterday. Here's a link to a free trial version for you to have a look at: http://www.ulead.com/pi/trial.htm

Adobe Elements is a cut down version of photoshop - photoshop is full of bells and whistles for professional designers - elements has the tools needed for photo editing and the ones you need for tshirt designs too without all of the complicated bits.

A lot of people here use Impact - and it's very reasonably priced and easy to use - I started out with it - but went to photoshop once I learned how to use it for my job.

Personally I'd go with Impact :)

It costs about £45 from amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ulead-Photo...d_ka_1/202-2548244-8751013?ie=UTF8&s=software

You might even get away with their new smaller version of the software which is under a tenner!
