Starting Feb 9 for packages through August 15

now if they will only extend it through october!!! woohoo! anyway, that is great news! :thumbsup2

judging by the first quarter report, it just might be.

We're planning for late Sept...I hope they extend it again.

I saw that for the first quarter net income was down 32% and resort and park segment profit was down 24%.
And stock dropped 10% after hours today.

How did you come to hear about the extension? I am DEFINITELY calling on the 9th but want to make absolute certain that its for real and not just a newspaper opinion on what may happen... is it on their website? Thanks so much for the info!! Our summer trip will be so much more affordable now :)

My travel agent e-mailed me with the same info. I guess they were given the heads up. We are booked offsite and not sure we want to give that up. It's tempting though.

I too am hoping this will be extended even more! This would be better than the 40% off room I have! Is it a better deal than free dining for family of 4?

I saw this same info on touringplans. com too.

i'd actually suggest contacting the TA now so the TA can act first thing on Monday.

Brad- I was thinking of this but now I am confused as to whether I will actually save money. Maybe you could help me, you seem pretty knowledgeable...

I wanted to book one week on the promo at a value then the second week at the contemporary with a mk view room on the promo.

On the first week I would get park hopper and water park and on the second week just park hopper

But then wouldnt I have to get 2 insurances and really don't end up saving that much?

My fiance really doesn't want to spend that much but I was going to do it as a gift because he really wanted that contemp room.

I even looked at rebooking our 2 weeks at pop into 2 separate trips but again after insurance, I feel like we will be paying the same amount because we got it through aaa with a good discount.

Thanks for the help you can give!
