I understand The free transportation is available from Orlando airport to WDW when we fly Air Canada, but is it available if we fly Skyservice or any other charter?

I don't believe so, but you should check into it. I know that as of right now there are only certain airlines that they are participating with. I'm sure that within time they will expand on that, but from what I hear....they are having enough trouble dealing with what they have now. :earseek:

Magical express is available with any flight arriving at Orlando Airport. The significance of arriving airline name and flight number is to let Disney know when you are arriving and how many people are arriving and when.

I think that automatic sight unseen delivery of baggage to your resort is available with any airline that uses the Orlando carousels to get your checked baggage back to you. If you clear customs at Orlando, you need to handle your bags there, I think you have to carry your bags to the Magical Express welcoming area where you may (and are sometimes required to) hand them over for resort delivery.

Going home, using Magical Express for a charter flight is the same as using Air Canada (or any airline not represented at the resort), you deal with your bags yourself from resort checkout to departure for the airport, and bring your bags to the ME bus. For a charter flight I personally would urge you to request an earlier ME return to the airport, say 3-1/2 rather than the normal 2-3/4 hours in advance of your flight.

(Repetitious, but important for charter flights) Allow ample time to get back to the resort from the theme park and to get bags from the bellhop. Some resorts require 45 minutes for the latter, at other resorts there may be a long line.

This is my understanding, actually:
Any flight into Orlando will get you magical express; it's Check-In at-Disney 'service' you can only get on certain airlines. United is one of them, which a Canada-bound traveller could use on a code-share flight with United, presumably.

You have to get your own luggage if you clear customs in MCO but after you clear they're checked through to your resort. You don't have to pick them up at the second carousel.

Do you have the option of getting your luggage and taking it on the bus with you (stored in the under the bus bins)?

I would like to know this too. After reading about the # of hours you have to wait for bags, I would rather take my bags with me on the ME. Our flight arrives at MCO at 8 pm and I don't want to be answering doors at midnight to get my bags. Want to get a good early start the next day.
