Disney experince in november?

Hey all

Hoping for an annual trip this year, but the only time me and hubby can get off together is November. What's it like during then? Is most of the rides/restaurants etc open? Crowds? We'll be taking our little fella who will be 3y7m by then x

if its after 11th november - you'll have a fabulous time . Christmas season will be in full swing, midweek the parks are just about as empty as you'll ever see them, and its not major refurb season, so you should find plenty of restaurants open, and not a lot of rides down for refurb.

November, Christmas season, midweek, is my absolute favourite time to visit DLP .

This is all good news to me - I head on the 17 November and it's midweek so looking forward to my first Christmas Season at DLRP!

We were there last year midweek second week of november and it was brilliant! Every single ride was a walk on apart from Crush which has a massive 10 minute wait!

Most restaurants were open, xmas season is breathtaking. I was worried the trip was too short as we were only there 2.5 days (we normally go for 5) but it was so quiet, we got way more done then we normally do!

like i said earlier, its not major refurb season so i can't see many rides at all being closed in november.

in paris its generally a couple of degrees colder in winter than it is in the UK, but its still generally warmer in november than it is in january or february (although with the crazy weather we've been having all over Europe this past year, who knows ).

Go prepared for the weather (check forecasts before you go) and enjoy .

There's an archive too but obviously the same rides might not be closed at the same time every year.

We went with DD, then nearly 3, late Nov/early Dec in 2008 and it was lovely and quiet I would definitely do it if I were you, before your little one starts school!

This thread is very encouraging, my family of 6 is planning on a trip over from NYC in November. The last thing we all want to be doing on our short trip to Disneyland Paris is stand in long lines!

What's it like for the character interaction in November? We were there mid march last year and they were very sparse, and the ones we did see we're swamped by pushy parents!

the whole character experience is changing at DLP, as of now most of the meet n greets in both parks are with queues, and come November the characters are leaving the onsite hotels and will be in the park for EMH instead .
