Have an Enhanced Portrait Session scheduled for our November trip to Disney. Always wanted to do this but never took the time. DVC discount really makes a difference in the price. We've selected Epcot - World Showcase for our location. I realize that we will have the opportunity to take shots in a few different "countries" there but not sure if you wear the same outfit the whole time. Has anyone tried doing a quick change during the hour session? Also, anybody know if you need to arrive dressed for pics or can you bring clothes and change just before? Would LOVE location suggestions while at Epcot or suggestions on a photographer to request (if possible)!!! Thanks!

What a neat idea! I no suggestions since I didn't know this was an option -but where can I find info on booking? I could add Disney photos to dd's Sr. pic collage.

I did this for my 10th wedding anniversary, we chose 2 locations: EPCOT and Grand Floridian. I LOVE our photos and the experience! Since the time allocated for each location was only 1 hour, we were asked to arrive at our first location (EPCOT) already dressed. I did not consider changing clothes but if that is what you really want to do, it doesn't hurt to ask the photographer. My only concern with changing clothes would be it shortens your time at your photo location and may lessen the amount of photos you get.

We had a wonderful photographer, Rick. With the one hour at EPCOT, we were able to get fantastic photos at United Kingdom, France, Morocco, American Adventure, and Italy. Rick took us to various spots within each country and really made good use of our time at each country. He wanted to get as many photos as he could in as many spots as he could since the park was empty.

I haven't quite figured out how to post pictures on the boards. Tried a few times and it didn't work. So PM me your Email if you want to see a few examples from our photo session.

It was a great and very memorable photography experience and I would do it again in a heart beat!

I had these done but hated them! The photographers left it up to me to make poses and of course with a group of 16, I forgot some of the shots I wanted. There were no 'natural' pics and I felt I had just wasted $400.

It is Disney Event Photography. They do senior pics also.

Thanks! Just called and had a request for Rick (if available) added to my appointment.

Does anyone have any pics to share from doing this for a family session? I'd love to see them! Please share. This sounds great, but I am so nervous to book something like this with squirmy DS. He is 2 and doesn't like to sit still or look at the camera :(

We had family portraits done in April by an outside photographer, Randy Chapman. We had him for 1.5 hours and got a CD, with copyright release,of all of photos. You might want to check him out. Lots of great pics on his FB page, Chapman Photography!!

I am visiting WDW 9/10 to 9/23 if anyone would like family portraits done. I am an independent photographer however I have written permission from WDW to do portraits in the park. Just message me on DIS or send me a message via my website below.

Okay I have waiting a little while to post an update to my Disney Event Photography experience. I needed a little time to calm down. We did our session at Epcot in World Showplace before that section opened. I had requested Rick but found out the day before during the confirmation phone call that he was out of the country. Our photographer was Dean and he had an assistant with him. Very nice guys. I was totally clueless as to where I wanted to do pics so I left it up to him. Should have realized when he said "okay let go ahead and do France and the UK" that he was making his job as easy as possible. We sat, smiled real big and had a good time taking pics. The whole time I had such high hopes for the final product. Boy was I disappointed when the CD and proof book came it. These were the worst pictures my family has ever taken. Even the resolution in the pictures was washed out. I literally sat and cried while looking at these pictures. The photopass photographers in the parks did a better job than this guy. Can't begin to express in words how disgusted I was by this experience. Makes me sick to my stomach when I think if the money I wasted on them. WILL NEVER CONSIDER USING THEM AGAIN!!!!!

Oh no! Was just searching or event photography because we were thinking of doing it. Guess I better think twice.

If the resolution is not good I would certainly complain, a professional photographer shouldn't have that issue. Did any of them come out well? I have been on the fence about doing this mainly because if the pictures don't come out well there's no chance of a re-do.

Let me say this...as a DVC member I get two free 5x7's. Couldn't even decide on one shot to get the free photos with. They were HORRIBLE!! I cried like a crazy person.

What a bummer to hear. I'd like to hope the disney photogs would be better than that with access to all those cool shooting spots.
