Disney Epcot event le pins for $5.99 no way Dude! well Yea

June you were right, I didn’t believe it, but you were right. I will honor my bet and be your slave for a day.

Well there I was at the local Disney lets dump it store and sure enough, the pins we all stood in line for at the Epcot event on the racks marked down to $5.99 most of them minus the Mickey one that is, I’m talking LE’s kids not the rack pins, but they were there as well.

Kinda makes you wish you could do the whole thing over again huh?

The girl in the store told me they got loads of stuff in the back, and showed me a few of the items, like Christmas beanies for $2.99 I got two: teeth: Magical moments pins for $7.99, and the Christmas pins I got for $10.50 each there they were for $4.99. It’s enough to make you cry.

But wait there’s more Name pins for $2.99, snow globes from $4.99 small to $25.00 large these sold for $55.00 at Disney. The monorail train was there as well I did not check the price I was too weak from crying in the pin section.

Well I guess if its an LE of over 2000 get the Mickey, Tinkerbell, or Figment ones but the rest will appear at the outlet mall sooner or later.

Just as the experience of standing in the line that would not move out of the heat and into the air conditioning on the Friday of the September Pin Event was fading into memory ...

Just as my feeling that "I will never do another Disney pin event" was evolving into "I might do a small event sometime" ....

Why do I feel like I've been kicked in the teeth?

Sorry for the rant, folks, but this bit of news just dredged up some memories from the debacle last September.

this was the last day of my vacation and some friends at WDW told me about .. so i went over there to Belz and Premium outlets and like Ed ( i am just a cool guy hanging around with a cool lanyard ...) i was surprised and did grab some nice light up pins and annual passholder pins for 50% off... makes you wonder how many they did actually sell in the parks when they can flood the outlets month after ??????? Were they really small LEs ???

Ed it was nice meeting you at the contemporary !!!
