HEY GUYS ANYONE ON TO NIGHT??????hello everybody i haven't been on for a while but i'm back:goodvibes ..okay my qustion is what should i avoid during this trip i will only be 2 3/4 months preggers:banana: i've been to disney 9 times(never preggers) but a lot of the rides they say to avoid seem to to be fine in my opion HELP! HELP!:confused3

That one's really a per person judgement call... I went ...not knowing... at about a month preg and rode even thrill rides (as I didn't know I was) and had no adverse efects. Had I known I probably would have avoided quite a few but there are so many things you can still do pregnant or not.... just use your best judgment and heed the warnings...

Hi,

I leave tomorrow and I'm just about 3 months pregnant. I talked to my Dr about the rides because I was so upset about missing them. He advised to avoid just about anything with a sign saying not to ride if you're expecting. He also said use judgement. He definitely urged no coasters, but he didn't seem concerned about Test Trak (I'm convinced driving with DH is more dangerous). I'm also debating on Kali river Rapids. Other than that it's Dr's orders I guess. I'm disappointed, but it's just the excuse you need to get back in a couple of years.

He also said the main thing is lots of water and rest. It's easy to push yourself to hard there.

Congratualtions!

I have a neck injury and have similar questions about rides. So many signs say not to go on with neck or back injury, but still I wonder. For me it all depends on whether there is a lot of jolting back and forth of the neck. I guess I will have to send dh ahead of me since he has a good idea of what I can tolerate.

I went in 2005 when I was 10-11 weeks pregnant. I avoided all the big rides. I did do the safari at the AK and it was a lot more jerky than I had expected. We sat in the last row, so I don't know if that makes a difference. My 2yr old kept banging his head very hard into the back of the seat because it was such a bumpy ride. That said, it didn't seem to have any ill effect on me or the baby. I was more worried about my 2yo.

My main issue was lack of energy and morning sickness. I did notice that I felt better than I did at home, but still not 100%.
