It's already starting! Two nights in a row I've had dreams about our trip.

The first night I dreamed that we were on our way to the airport when I realised I hadn't booked accommodation for our first 2 nights. Then at the airport I realised I hadn't unpacked from our last trip and therefore had nothing I needed like running gear.

Last night's dream I can't remember as vividly (probably because it wasn't as bad!) but I was definitely looking for shoes to go with my Dapper Day dress :rotfl:

And a couple of weeks ago I had a dream that I forgot all our Disneyland tickets

Is anyone else having dreams about their trip or am I just going crazy? :crazy2:

Hahahaha nope, you're not crazy! I've been having them too. I haven't for a while, but I was having them night after night before I went to Cairns at Easter. I think it was my brain processing the planning for Cairns, but mixing it up with something that was taking up a lot more of thoughts, and that's Disney.

Oddly, they all seemed to involve water. In one dream the friend who went with me to Cairns was in DW with me and she dropped my camera in the lake and ruined it. In another, there was a new ride at Epcot, like a slow moving roller coaster that had a corkscrew section that actually fully submerged into the lake for a minute or so (longer than most people could hold their breath, but hey, who needs logic in a dream??)

I have to wonder if your dream about not unpacking from the last one is some kind of message that you travel too much? :rotfl2: I could suggest putting together lists of what you still need to do as a way of relieving your brain of that task, but maybe you already do that. In any case, I hope the dreams continue, but that they become a lot less stressful! :cloud9:

Phew, glad it's not just me!

Travel too much? Can you do that? :lmao:

I actually started my packing list a couple of months ago :lmao: I've got so much stuff I actually need to take with me for specific events on this trip, I think I'm just overly paranoid that I will forget something (as if I can't buy runners in the US if by some crazy oversight I forget to pack them :rotfl:).

Not only did I start my packing list ages ago, I also started packing months ago. Actually when we came back in 2012 there were things that we knew we would not use again until next time we went so we left them in one of the suitcases. Even with all of that I am still sure I will forget something, oh well hopefully nothing important.

I don't think there is ever a thing of travelling too much especially if its holiday travel.

Hope your travel dreams turn into fun dreams of what wonderful things that you have in store.

I don't have them as much before the trip, but it's not uncommon for me to have nightly Disney dreams for a couple of months after my trips.

I would have already started packing too, except I've needed my suitcase in the meantime :rotfl:

I just have to remind myself that it's the US I'm going to, and whatever I might forget I will be able to buy there.

I have them after the trip too! Especially after trips where we've moved around a lot, sometimes I wake up and forget where I am :lmao:

I've been having Disney dreams/nightmares the last few weeks. I keep dreaming that when we finally get to book WDW it is completely sold out! I think it is just because everything else is booked but this is the most important bit and I can't lock it in yet!

Totally agree with that! If there's one thing that makes me nervous it's waiting to book important stuff.

I haven't yet for this trip but only because I have been having house dreams (while selling and buying).

My dreams are usually the 'forget tickets' or 'running late and everyone is moving at molasses speed' or 'don't have my reservation at the hotel' dreams. I am by nature a bit of a worrier and I think this leaks into my dreams.

And as the entire holiday planner I feel the weight of everyone enjoying themselves squarely on my shoulders!

Oh yes, house worries trump holiday worries every time!

But I agree that there's a lot of pressure on the 'planner' to ensure that everything goes smoothly and everyone has a good time. Luckily my DH and parents are pretty easy going :goodvibes
