Hi again everyone!
My intention was to put a
quadruple update up tonight but as it happens, life has gotten in the way again.

I have just enough time to show everyone the
second order of pins I received earlier this week

and our
movie night from last night.
Right off the top, I want to tell everyone that I passed on a recommendation to on who to order pins through eBay -- stick with a single order.
Do not repeat it. My experience could be completely isolated, but the second order I received from the same seller was quite a bit a duplicate of my first order.
In fact, 23 of the 40 I received were the same.
That being said, I like the new ones I did receive:
Alex was thrilled to receive these two... a
vintage Mickey and the blue Mickey heads:
For me, it worked out because I was actually buying these to trade them and it made the choice process much easier, but for anyone getting them for any other reason...... keep it in mind.
Now, on to
movie night! It was last night and it was on
Ariana's birthday.

Originally I'd wanted to have a make-your-own-pizza night but instead we decided to get an ice cream cake and munch away on it after dinner, during the movie.
This was the Baskin Robbins cake we'd seen earlier! It's a
chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream cake..... *drool*. It was soooo good we were hard pressed to leave anything behind for George!
The movie choice was Alex's and his pick was:
OK, I think some of you just
may have picked up on the fact that I
ADORE Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow

so I was certainly happy to watch the shenanigans of
The Curse of the Black Pearl. I love the entire movie, but two favorite scenes come to mind. The first is at the start of the movie where Jack comes sailing into the dock as the ship he's on is sinking .....
..... and that absolutely phenomenal scene where the cursed pirates are walking underwater in and out of the moonlight.
Awesome!!
Ariana had one more special gift from a dear neighbour of ours that has taken a shine to our kids. She wanted Ariana to have a piece from her own jewelery collection and so gave her a beautiful opal pendant.
We put it away for safe keeping!
Then it was time to take a Mickey head and chain link down.
Birthday girl had the honours....
..... and the chain gets
smaller!
My next two updates will be about our day 6 plans. There's so much to cover I had to split it up, lol. They're almost done, just a few last elements to add to both...... I have meet the teacher night for Demetri tomorrow so if I don't get part one up then, it will definately be Friday! Hopefully I can get caught up on all my subscriptions too!! Thanks for sticking with me!
