Ok, am I crazy or do the room lights spell out Disney Dream on the side of the boat that the webcam is on now??

(Please someone tell me that other people see that, otherwise I may need a vacation)

Nope, you're not crazy...the lights spell out Disney Dream. How COOL is that?!!!

Debbie...not sure what they are doing...I do see the spot lights. Also can you see the tug boat? Must be getting close.

So, go figure, I went to lunch for an hour and I come back and the ship is gone! I sat and watched that web cam ALL morning and then I didn't get to see her sail off for the first time!!!!!

Ok.........I've been watching Myer Werft's webcam like ya'll are doing. But I can't tell...........is the Dream navigating under her own power or are the tug boats pulling or pushing her down the Ems river? And, will we be able to see her at any places on this voyage she is taking???? Inquiring minds want to know!

There are tug boats helping her...but it is very dark and now I can't tell whether the tugs are helping or not.

As for seeing her somewhere else...I don't know. If not, we have to wait until she comes into Port Canaveral.

Just wanted to pop in to say hi. Hope everyone is having a great week-end. Well everyone we are another day closer to our cruise. It's getting exciting isn't it!!! I'm getting all goose pimpally!!!(SP???) Have a great week-end all!!!

So, changes in our cruising plans. We have cancelled my family's B2B cruise and instead booked the Fantasy for August 2012. I was however able to salvage part of the Dream trip. I will still be cruising for what was to be the first half of our B2B (Sept. 11th 2011), but it will be a "Mommy and Me" trip with my youngest instead of with the whole family. Fianancially, this was the better way to go. So although I won't be cruising with most of you here, I will be cruising the Dream the week before you all So maybe we'll cross paths (and won't know it) when we get off the ship, and there might be a lineup of people waiting to enter the terminal........

Hi...sorry to hear about your change in plans. We will be on the B2B starting on the 15th and then going on the members cruise on the 18th.

How wonderful---a Mommy and Me trip and cruising on the Fantasy in 2012.

ALSO....are we going to plan a dismeet onboard? I'll have my kids with me and they like to swim as soon as we board. So, I was thinking, if everyone is planning on being at the terminal as soon as we can board the ship, maybe we can plan a dismeet at 1:00 by the Mickey pool. That way any little kids can go swimming, and it's a fun way to kill time while we're waiting to get into our rooms at 1:30. What do you guys think?

That sounds like a great idea to me. I'm sure Carter will be wanting to swim as soon as we get on the ship!

I'm not planning on getting off in Nassau, been there and done that many times.

Monika - You have to take a cab to Atlantis, but it's pretty cheap. I think it was around $10 round trip the last time I went, but that's been awhile.

My kids are planning on swimming as soon as they can too. But, we'll be at the Donald Pool. They're a bit old for the Mickey Pool. But, maybe I'll pop over and say hi!

We are doing a B2B also. We are doing the 4 day before this one then this 3 day. While at Nassau we will get off on one of our trips............not sure which one then stay on board the other time. Last trip to Nassau we did Atlantis, so we will check out the island and it's history. DW and I like that kind of stuff.

A little off topic here. Has anyone other then DW and I put up their Christmas tree yet? We have 3 kitties, and last year was a nightmare with them getting in the tree. So this year we decided to put the tree up this week-end..........just set it up so the kitties could get use to it. And, then decorate it Friday after Thanksgiving like we always do. Bur after putting it up we jumped right in and have it almost completely decorated!!!!

Hi David...thanks so much for the link...I just loved it. September 2011 can't get here fast enough.

A little off topic here. Has anyone other then DW and I put up their Christmas tree yet? We have 3 kitties, and last year was a nightmare with them getting in the tree. So this year we decided to put the tree up this week-end..........just set it up so the kitties could get use to it. And, then decorate it Friday after Thanksgiving like we always do. We don't put our tree up until after Thanksgiving. Today, we went to the tree farm not far from our house and tagged our tree. Since we are going to WDW on the 7th of December, our tree will be picked up after we get back from our trip. Our DS and DDIL have 2 cats that do exactly the same as your cats. No matter what they do, the cats climb in the tree. They just don't put fragile ornaments on the tree. He sent us a photo a couple of years ago of his cat that fell asleep in the tree.

We don't have our tree up yet. That will be next weekend's chore. As far as the cats, we got soooooo very lucky with our cats. They just like to sleep under the tree. It's really cute!!!! Except I end up having to wash the tree skirt several times before Christmas (and then after Christmas before I put it away) because they shed all over it!

(Watch...now that I just said that, the cats will probably try climbing the tree this year. )

Well here it is..............Good Ol' Monday morning again gang!!! Another day closer to our cruise date!!!

Here is the latest up / update on our Christmas tree. As you will remember, in yesterday's episode, the Christmas tree was completely decorated. And, all parties were happy. Well it seems as the day went on DW got to inspecting the tree for flaws..............checking where ornaments her hubby put on the tree that did not look right in that spot!!! She stepped back to admire her work and all of a sudden.......... she said something's not right!!! Well hubby was to say the least!!! Then DW says all of the garland that was put on the tree with great care and has to be taken off and put on the tree in a different way!!! Well hubby is still , and says but why , DW says stop calling me !!! Ok.........ok........DW says the tree looks . So this week-end we will be pulling the garland off the tree and putting it back on in the way DW wants it to be put on! It seems I go around in a state of mind most of the time now any more!!!!

Well, ya'll have a great day today. I'm going to try and figure out a better way to put on the ol' garland!!!
