yes, i am part of another one. i just came to browse here because i thought i had introduced myself here before and possible signed up for the FE. i guess not. i know i was disappointed with the lack of action / chatting on this thread. very very different from all our other previous disney cruise threads. Although for me anyway, my life has become so chaotic, i don't have as much time to chat in the threads anymore.

I am in another group as well. This group started off really slow. It took DIS over 2 1/2 months just to get the sailing page added, so I think that is why it has been really slow. In the other group I am in the FE there as well I just wanted to be sure we don't miss anyone etc..

There is also a group on "the other site" to sign up for right? Can we combine the groups into one? It's not a DisBoard but it seems more active, and the Admins are really helpful!

It would be great to combine, there is so much more that is offered other site has FE group, Adult only FE group, Kids only FE group etc....many many options and is growing daily

I am still surprised how quiet this group is. It may be due to our other group having so much activity and many more conversations and FE options.

So since I'm a newbie, what kind of things should I expect with the FE? I've seen ideas for items on various websites, but does anyone have any favorite gifts they get?

Also, any kind of guidelines to go by, etc.?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey Lauren...the guidelines are in the 1st post on this group page. I agree, there are many Disney Dream groups and Fish Extender websites out there for samples of FE gifts to make. Basically you can make anything that you would like. There is no right or wrong gift.

My most favorite gift received was a wave phone holder, sewn out of Mickey fabric with a flap to close, that hooked around a mickey button. has a caribbeaner to clip onto a belt loop. such a great, practical gift! we bring ours back cruising with us every single year!! other favorite gifts were things embroidered with the DCL logo.
