Cabin is 8010, FE groups were closed. I added the cabin in the other group on the pixie dust list They are not on the FE list

Hello! I'm not sure if people are seeing my post about the room change. My account is having problems. I can see the first couple pages of this thread but the last pages look encrypted. It's the same on my phone or laptop. Our new cabin

Hey there! Our family is scheduled on a 4-day Disney Cruise on the Dream from 9/19-23. We're excited to have our son participate in the fish exchange. Also, I'm currently in training for the WDW Marathon on January 8. If you're interested in running in the mornings, I would love to have a running partner. I run between 9-10 minute miles. I'm also planning a long run of 14 miles on Castaway (any mileage is welcome to join!). Look forward to discussing if you are interested. Thanks!

@DisneyBrewingCo unfortunately the FE group here is closed Group closed on August 1st. There maybe a pixie dust group you can join @Lady Duchess can you help with that ?

I can add them to the pixie dust list in the other group No FE groups are open anymore due to being to close to the sailing date. We sail in 16 days.

This will be the first cruise for hubby and I. We will be in room 10042. Looking forward to meeting some of you. We are staying at AKL before and after the cruise. Taking Disney transportation to and from port. Any tips for us first timers? We are empty nesters.

Welcome to the group My recommendation is to have fun, you can not do it all in a short time Use your navigator and highlight what is important

I'm getting a little concerned about the FE gifts. I wanted to look for a possible small, last minute addition to the item I have. When I googled for ideas i was amazed at some of the suggestions. I'm not crafty and I'm afraid i am not doing as much as I should have. Anyone else have feedback or suggestions?

There is no right or wrong gift for the FE. My very first year cruising I had no clue what to make etc. I cut a mouse out of felt and made simple key chains. I have made clips (clothespins) painted as candy corn, magnetic pic frame with mickey from castaway cay, foam magnets, wooden magnets, tiles etc... It's the thought of the gifts, not how big or little, and not what its worth

how are we handling room changes at port, either upgrades or just you end up getting moved for some other reason?

For changes at the port...Please be sure you bring post it notes. Use the post it notes for any updates that may come up, I will not have a dry erase board or anything on my door. The post it notes work well, we used them in the past

Ok so go around to everyone on the Fe and leave a post it with the new cabin then ?

Also with the gold bars I meant I overdid it by buying everyone bars of gold.

We had the person who had the cabin change deliver their gifts the first day with the post it note attached to it with the new information. Sometimes you can ask guest services if you have the family's name in the cabin. Not everyone though provides their last name on the FE sheet even though we ask for it. Guest services is very helpful.

I wouldn't say the FE gifts are over done at all. The gifts can be simple to extreme, there truly is a variety
