My DH and I will be doing a cruise for the first time ever on the Disney Dream for the three night cruise to the Bahamas.

It is just the two of us. I am wondering if I should try to book Palo one of the nights, first night on the cruise or the last night or just stick with trying the three included restaurants in the rotation.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

TIA!

That's a tough one. I'd experience the 3 MDRs on the first cruise and do Palo on the second cruise, because you'll be back. :)

We enjoy the MDRs and have never gone to Palo in 24 days on board. We feel no need to as we really enjoy the food in the rotationals. If you're a real foodie, then maybe try it, but don't let these boards make you feel like it's a necessity.

I agree with staying with the 3 MDR since this is your first trip. They are quite good and an experience to try at least once. Next cruise will be for Palo. I liked brunch better than the dinner.

Our first cruise was a 3 night so we skipped Palo. No regrets. I didn't want to miss any of the MDRs. If/when you take a longer cruise I'd check it out.
