One of our Ports of Call is Naussau!
Today's Question of the Day is:
Do you have any excursions booked or what are your plans for this day?

Our original plan was to stay onboard but now we are going to get off after breakfast and hit up the straw market, Junkanoo Beach and then the brewery before getting back for a late lunch!
Since this is our first cruise, and first time in the Bahamas, we will be doing the Atlantis tour. Originally, we planned on just staying on board and enjoy the ship, but the kids have been bugging me about the Atlantis :). Too many things to do in such a short trip...well I guess there's always the next cruise. I'm already looking at itineraries for next year!:sail:

Your kids will have a blast in Atlantis! We had a lot of fun at the waterpark and the Aquarium tour was awesome, although a bit scary because I kept picturing the glass breaking! LOL

Okay Dreamers, the online/printable list has once again been updated. DO NOT print it yet, as it may change AGAIN before our cut-off date. I just like keeping it updated. To get to the document, just click on the photo above and it should take you there!

You will notice that I had to add a note to it due to something not so nice happening aboard the ships lately.
This is the note:
*Please Note* Due to recent thefts from FE pouches and of actual FE pockets, if you have a minute send a text to the staterooms via the wave phone to let them know you have delivered. This will allow the guests to get to their stateroom and bring the things safely inside.

I also wanted to be sure to ask you all to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE text everyone on the list if you happen to change staterooms before you board in the terminal. I know a lot of people like to pay for upgrades or don't end up liking their stateroom...whatever, just let us know!! :)

My youngest made these candy corn magnets and I helped him laminate them! As you are filling our FE, please feel free to take 1 back for your stateroom! We have made enough for each of you all to take 1!
Each of my children are making items to *pixie dust* kids they meet on the ship or any way they can come up with! This is what my youngest has chosen to do!

People are unbelievable! It's just so sad. The magnets are super cute!

We are doing Atlantis. I know it's pricey but my husband and I went without kids one year and vowed we had to return!

Thank you!!
I could not believe it when I heard things were getting stolen, someone even had family photos as a magnet on their door and those were stolen too :( Who wants family photos? People just take things because they think it's funny.

Fun! @yasminern is doing that same one! I also have friends on another board that are renting rooms at a local hotel in Nassau, but they just check in and don't use the room. They get free tix to Atlantis at more than half off the price even when you include the cab fair. It's amazing the things you find out! LOL!

Not sure if you've noticed or not but we are a Hill fam too :) my boys are 12&10! Small world (after all) :earboy2:

My BIG plan for that day if nothing else to to go to Tortuga Rum Cake shop. I LOVE their rum cakes and i think my favorite things there are the variety packs and the gift set of rum cake and a bottle of rum that they use in the making! Last cruise these made great gifts for friends! We loved the pineapple one! (Address is listed below for anyone else who wants to visit.) and we are looking forward to relaxing on the beach and maybe a few other shops!

Yes you can but the rum will be confiscated until the end of the trip, you can pick up your alcohol when the ship docks back in Florida at 7:30 a.m. I believe.

Good morning everyone! It's getting closer and closer until we will see this sight!! We are so excited over here!

We are a family of 4...this is our first cruise, but our friends say that fish extenders are a must for our daughters! Please count us in!!! It is near impossible to find how to register for this program so please bare with me if I take a while to respond...we have already started making our gifts.

Millers800 is in Stateroom 7034.

Just quoting to make sure you are still interested :) we are re-confirming the staterooms so that I can begin finalizing the list. Thank you!!

Here is a list of tastings and their prices! This is not necessarily the day they are on or anything like that. I would just use this as a price guide as it is from a previous cruise!

well, I'm going to attempt to put a photo of us out here :-)

we are flying in from KNOXVILLE, TN the night before, staying in Cocoa and parking (rental) at port (with a discount from the hotel)
We are doing the opposite of most, heading to the parks AFTER the cruise!
We have fall break that week and it was better to do cruise first, park second -- MNSSHP too!

It is unfortunate about the theft -make me sad, but alerts me to put our name on our magnets and not get too attached to them, just in case...

thanks michelle for all your hard work!

Loving our message board!!

That's what we usually do when we cruise! We go on the cruise first then hit the parks. I think it's a nice way to end. Start with all the high pampering on the cruise then the middle from the resort and then head home.

alright, maybe not. I can't find how to upload a photo or insert a file -- saying "not available"...maybe I'm too much of a noobie to be able to do much? I'm typically pretty computer savvy, but not on these boards
you guys might have to just imagine what we look like - haaaaaa. or pretend we are ghosts from the Haunted Mansion!
