Hi all, we leave for the airport today and fly out to NYC tomo. I am so excited. Our FE gifts take up on whole suitcase! I am not at all crafty so Im sorry to say all of your gifts are Australian themed! I do hope you like them.
I hope we can have some sort of get together, either before the sail away party or maybe on the at sea day.

Hey all!


To answer Allison's question, wedding plans are coming along. As I like to say, we are "in the weeds" now. Lots of final details and things we've put off piling up.

Personally, I'm ready for Sept. 28th (the wedding) and then Oct 3 (the last day of work before our honeymoon begins)!!!

Anyone make plans for Nassau? Any fun excursions planned?

Josh, happy to hear your wedding plans are going smoothly. I am planning on staying on the ship in Nassau. We were on a big family Carnival cruise last year and did the dolphin excursion at Blue Lagoon. It was great. Too expensive to do two years in a row. My daughter would love to do it again. The Sea Lions were so cute. I would like to do that but we spent our excursion money to go MNSSHP after the cruise.

We took a cruise 14 years ago on our honeymoon. It was a great trip...and that's the last cruise I went on unitl this one!


We booked the Blue Lagoon dolphin encouter for Nassau....anyone else?

Nassau- We are doing Astrada Gardens & Zoo. Coming off a week long beach vacation, I thought the kids would prefer a break from the sand.

In response to what I am doing in Nassau. Staying on the ship. Things I would like to do include have lunch (Ha ha ha) ride the Aquaduck, play midship detective agency. Thing I know I am doing, attend a wedding.

We're staying on the ship in Nassau and may get off for a quick tour of CC but no beach or swimming. My 7 year old is an ok swimmer but the 5 year old isn't and I don't feel comfortable letting them both swim with just me to keep after them. So we'll take a walk around..maybe stop by the gift shop...then it's back to the ship for hopefully a few aquaduck rides.

How much time is there after the drill and before sailaway? I'd like to get together. I may have a 'kid' situation and have to see what they want to do, etc. But I'm game!

Nassau Day... our group of 9 (3 cabins) is doing a Bahama Boat Tours tour, it's a 4 hour snorkeling, tube riding and beach adventure.

And by the way....

It's Friday!!!!!!!!!!!

Only 3 more Friday's left!

I normally stay on the ship at Nassau, but this year we are going to do the Chocolate making tour...we both thought that sounded fun!

We are also doing MNSSHP after the cruise. Looking forward to that as well.

Sure am glad this vacation is paid for as we just found out my car needs $3,900.00 in repairs.

Guess this will be the last trip for a while, just need to make it through the next 13 days.

Finally, have all my fish extender gifts. Started my packing list. Looking forward to Palo. Checked the menu out again last night. Bought Emily a snorkel and mask from K-mart for $6 yesterday. She can try out snorkeling without having to rent snorkels for all of us and then if she freaks out and hates it we didn't waste all that money.

Can't wait to hear how the the Halloween activities go in the upcoming cruises. I guess it is still to early to check out the weather.

Me too!!!! So very exciting, hard to concentrate at work!! I need to take some time and look at which cruise I want to book on board ..I know you can change it but want to have a clue!!
