Booked in 2519 right now 11, but trying to upgrade to an oceanview.

Myself 47, Wife(Crystal 37), Daughter(Daytona 11), Son(Geoffrey 8). Fourth Disney cruise for us.

Looking forward to the Aquaduct and two stops at Castaway Quay as well as not having to plan nearly as much as for the Med this summer. Maybe my cousin four times removed is still doing kayak tours at the Quay. First time on one of the new boats. Magic twice and Wonder once so far.

We just hung up and are booked for this cruise. We rebooked a dummy date on board last March on the Mexican Riviera. This is the second and hopefully final time we will be moving it.

It is just myself (40) and my Husband (40). We will be leaving the little ones at home with Grandma!

We are planning on flying in on Thursday, Nov 6th. We are hoping the Wine & Dine 1/2 marathon will be that weekend. We will do packet pickup and the expo on Friday....hubby will run the 1/2 marathon on Saturday and then we will enjoy the parks until the cruise. Planning on disembarking and flying home that Sunday. We hope to stay at Animal Kingdom, but have never been to Florida so are open to any suggestions from more experienced travelers.

x-mom - we are planning on flying in on Nov 8th and spending five days at Disneyworld first. That will not solidify until July 2014 when Disneyworld puts out its offers.

It depends on your budget. The actual Animal Kingdom hotels are very expensive. The All Star Resorts are inexpensive(comparitively) and very close to Animal Kingdom. We have stayed at All Star Movies and Music and have been very satisfied. We tend to spend very available minute in the parks come back and crash so one of the higher end resorts does not add a whole lot value for us.

We will be on pins and needles until we find out when the Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon weekend will be in 2014. For the past two years it has been the second weekend of November. Hopefully it will stay that way! My husband so wants that Coast to Coast Medal. He runs the Disneyland 1/2 Marathon every September and just stares at all the people with the extra bling!

We actually are DVC members so that is the only reason we will be staying at Animal Kindom. We will probably get a studio since it's the two of us, but it is nice having the fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker in the room. We plan on packing one bag full of just snacks and breakfast type food to cut down on the cost of meals in the park.

Either way, we are very excited!!

X-MOM - last time we went those dates had free dining plans attached.

Looks like it was the same in 2012.

Disney World Free Dining Fall 2012 Dates

Book the free dining package if checking in on the following dates. Guests must book by September 29, 2012, and availability is limited. Book by calling 407-W-Disney.

Thanks! We will definately watch that. I wasn't sure since we are DVC if we are able to get the dining plan since we aren't really paying for the hotel (we are using our points).

Well, rats (or mice!) -- got the cabin I want all figured out for this cruise for my 70th birthday and started through the booking process only to get hung up because my passport expires before the sailing date. Good thing I found that out! (Maybe I can just skip that part for now). It will be my first Disney cruise. Going to try again.

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :goodvibes

Have a great cruise!

Hi all ! I just booked this cruise for our family of 5! Now the torturous wait begins...

Jennifer, 32, Daniel 32, ds 11, dd 8, & ds 4.

Just booked this for my husband (his 1st cruise) and my DGD (12 when we sail) and myself-we depart on my 50th birthday which I think is the only way I convinced my husband to join us for this cruise! So excited for a double dip at CC. Now the wait begins......

HEY GANG!! I booked this cruise on opening day! This will be Evan and I 4th Disney Cruise and 2nd time on the Dream I booked the same inside cabin on deck 7 that we did on the Dream in 2011, Evan loves the virtual Porthole, so no complaints here. Evan I will be doing the Fantasy the end of next month we are SUPER excited! I look forward to chatting with you guys for the next year, maybe we can start a Secret Facebook Page as well, that what we did for our most recent cruise and it has been great!

By the Way I am Kimberly and my 7yr old Prince is Evan, and we are from GEORGIA!

I'm in. Took the easy way and went to my travel agent. Got my third choice for cabin. Way too early to raise the idea of seeing if DGS can miss a few days of school to come along. But I'm used to traveling alone, even for my birthday -- should be a great way to spend the 70th one! Can't believe it's taken me this long to go on a Disney cruise -- wanted to for a long time, just other stuff to see and do.
Melissa from Asheville, NC

Hi everyone booked this on first day. It will be Cathy (me) (58) and husband Wallace (57). This will be our sixth Disney cruise and our first on the Dream. We are looking forward to the double dip at CC :) I will be celebrating my birthday on the ship. What a way to celebrate :thumbsup2

We booked on opening day too! We are leaving in about 7 weeks for a 6 night on the Magic out of Galveston and are heading to the Med this summer for a 12 night on June 27. As soon as the dates and itineraries came out and I saw a double dip on the Dream...I was sold!! Castaway Cay twice...we can't wait. I will be with my 2 DD who will be 13 and 8 then...OMG! Looking forward to counting down with all of you!

When was opening day for booking? Did I just luck out and happen to catch the early stages for this trip? Maybe a spot of good karma!

I think it was last Thursday for Gold, Platinum and then Friday for Silver. So yes the good karma fairy visited you.

Hi! We booked this cruise last week onboard the wonderful Fantasy. It will be myself (35 at the time of sailing), DH (40), DD (6) and DS (3). That is really weird because my son is only 1.5 now and he will have grown so much by then. And my daughter is currently in preschool and will be in 1st grade! :crazy2: Crazy! This will be most of our 3rd Disney cruise. We did Magic in 2011 when I was pregnant with my son, then last week's Fantasy cruise and now Dream in 2014. Very excited as Castaway is our favorite place! In fact I brought home a little piece of it from Friday as I have a massive splinter in my foot that is making my hobble. Lol! Will enjoy planning with you all! Anyone interested in doing the fish exchange?
