Anyone planning on going on the Dream for the Focus on the family/Odyssey Cruise in Nov 2017?

I have moved this thread to the Cruise Meets Board for you. I will now add the link to the main directory page for Dream 2017 cruises.

Happy Planning!

We have a family group of 13 coming, we are excited to be joining Focus on the Family 40th Anniversary cruise!! There is a fb page for this cruise that has started a FE list, a simple search and I'm sure you will find it! Let the planning begin! :-)

We are!
Nana and Pa
Mom (me) and Dad
and Victoria (10) and Kathryn (2).
Victoria has Selective Mutism.
She loves Adventures Odyssey!

Yes, we are. My husband, son (age 11) and I from Austin, TX. We all love Adventures in Odyssey.

We have cruised several times before, but never on Disney and never on a charter. Has anyone else had trouble with the booking process? We just made our reservation a few days ago. Are we able to use the "My Disney Cruise" website? I couldn't get it to work, but maybe it's because it's a charter. I'm a big planner, and I don't feel like I have much to go on. Does anyone know the itinerary (port order, times in port, etc.)?

I know we will have a great time.

Somewhere on the Focus on the Family Cruise website I was finally able to connect to the itinerary.

Port Canaveral - Monday
Nassau
Day at Sea
Castaway Cay
Port Canaveral - Friday a.m.

Also saw that it is a Very Merrytime cruise.

I agree that the information is hard to find. I haven't tried logging on to the Disney website yet. Will look up the FB page.

I am grandma traveling with DD, SIL, and 2 DGSs, and 2 family friends.

Thanks for the info, TUSMimi. If you find the page with the itinerary, I'd love to know what it is so I can bookmark it.
I spent the afternoon reading the FAQs, and found a lot of good info. One thing I saw repeatedly was the phrase "you receive your booking ID#, 3-4 weeks prior to the cruise date." So that answers my questions about using the Disney website.
I found the Facebook site here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1085101748278825/

We'll be there! It'll be my husband, 2 daughters (8 & 5), mother-in-law, and me. All from Dallas. I found this page b/c I was looking into doing the fish extender thing for the girls. This is our first Disney cruise, so I don't know how to organize or what exactly we need to do. Anyone will to help with that?? Thanks! :)

There was a lot of info about the fish extenders on the Facebook page mentioned above. It sounds like there's not a lot we can actually do until much closer to the cruise as far as making reservations, etc. But it looks like there is more than enough info out there for me to read to keep me occupied until then...

Thanks! I just asked to join the page. Hopefully they'll let me in!

First time Disney cruisers from San Diego, CA. Grandma; Papa; Grandson, 5 (our adopted son); daughter, 32 and her 2 year old son. We are super excited and so happy that this with FOTF. I have been a listener since the ministry started in 1977. Wish we had the exact itinerary and other information. Need to make reservations in advance, etc. As another poster mentioned, I am a planner and it's driving crazy not to be able to solidify certain details. We got in at the "last minute" only because some else cancelled a room for 5.

Any experienced Disney cruisers - we need your advice! We are wondering how to pack, what to bring, if the dolphin experience is worth the time and $$, how best to plan for the 2 year old, etc., etc.!
