Hey, my family and I booked a cruise on the Disney Dream for next year. We have 4 adults staying in a deluxe family ocean view stateroom with verandah. Does anyone know which staterooms in that category would have a Murphy Bed?
The easiest way to see which rooms are still available in that category is to put five people in your search engine and see the list that pops up.
If you have already been assigned a room, you can go ahead and check reviews of that room and you should be able to tell how many people it sleeps at that point.
I'd put in a family of 5 and research the available cabins. Then drop it to 4 and find the same cabin. The cabins that hold 5 people have the master bed, couch bed, ceiling bunk and the extra murphy bed.
On the DCL website, go through the motions of booking a cruise. When you select a specific stateroom it will show you the bed configuration for the room, like this:
If it says "single wall pull-down bed" that is the murphy bed.
The search for 5 guests trick described by other posters described works well, but there are some staterooms that have the murphy bed but do not sleep 5, so it will miss some.
