Did you realize you had the 2900th post for our thread? And we still have a month and a half to go!

We booked a 8B GTY and we were assigned the same category in Stateroom # 9008. Please update our listing. We will be taking the family to WDW in less than a week and breaking the news to our DD's (15 & 11) than mom & dad will be cruising without them for our 20th anniversary celebration.

I got my stateroom number too!! I guaranteed a 6a and got a 4d!! WooHoo!!

Would you please update me on the roster and the FE list as stateroom 6112?


I wonder if they're trying to place guarantees before sending out the luggage tags and paperwork? that should be just anytime, right?

We booked a 9a and got a 6a!!!! We are in room 9670 which is the corner room. Although it says it's an accessible room, we did not ask for that but it does look like a bigger room so we're very very happy.

A veranda for us ... we are super happy! Thank you DCL

We booked a 9A and got a balcony upgrade too, to a 5D! I'm super excited - I just changed us from a non gty 9b a couple months ago when it popped up - so glad I did! Thanks for the pixie dust DCL!!!

I just called DCL to ask if there was going to be a 'Formal' night on the cruise. The CM put me on hold, then came back and said 'no'. We've never been on a 'short' cruise before, is this normal for DCL?

The last "short" cruise we went on just had a "dress up night". I think the shorter cruises are a little less formal then a 7 day or longer cruise.

GTY and we got our stateroom! #7675... still have the magical inside porthole I thought we'd have a chance at an upgrade since we booked on day 1, but... no luck! That's ok. We still have our virtual porthole!

Yes, the few "short" cruises we have been on have not had a formal night.

DCL cruises less than 7 days typically do not have a formal night or semi formal night. They do sometimes have "dress up night" which means you can dress nicer if you want but it is not required. Hubby usually wears dockers and a nice polo shirt to dinner.
