I noticed when looking over the ship decks of the new Disney Dream, that there is a concierge level and concierge rooms. Does anyone know if a DVC member can book concierge thru our points exchange program??

P.S. The new aquaduck waterslide looks really cool on the ship!

Concierge staterooms can be booked through DVC Member Services. The points are not published, and you must call to obtain the cost for the particular cruise and category you are looking for. Good luck! :)

I also found out when I booked on Monday that the point costs listed on the point chart are for the "C" categories and the "B" and "A" will cost more points. :thumbsup2

Just an idea about points for concierge 4 nite cruise to bahamas for those who may be curious, 3 adults, 1 14 yo. (total 4 persons)

Concierge family stateroom w/verandah - 584 points Category V

Concierge 1-bedroom suite w/verandah - 808 points Category T

Quotes are for sail date Feb. 20, 2011. (High Value Season)

DVC members cannot exchange for Category R which is royal suite concierge.

Sorry, not too familiar on how the system works for the cruises.. These points are they per person, or for the room per night? Thx..

Those point totals are for the entire group. (3 adults, 1 14yo) Not sure how that breaks down individually, but cruise exchanges for dvc points are based on per person point structures. However, they do not list concierge point charts publicly with dvc points.

Same cruise without concierge breaks down as follows:

Category 4 - Deluxe family stateroom w/verandah

person 1 - 140
person 2 - 140
3rd adult - 54
14 yo - 54
Total - 388

Concierge level, same room type -- 584.
Don't know if it is worth 196 points.
