Disney Dream Cruisers November 27, 2011

Please add my family to the FE exchange. We are Dan and Diane, Tom and Brooke and my grandkids, Kaelin 3 1/2 and Cason 1 1/2. We are in room 2021.

There is still something wrong with this picture. DQUIN5340 is listing 4 adults and 2 kids in a room that is a max of 4. There has to be one more cabin number.

DQUIN.... HallsInThe Kingdom.... help us out, we don't want to misss anyone that was signed up :thumbsup2

So we are up to 26 cabins? I just need a cabin total...thanks!

Yes there are 26 on the list plus the 2 added after the deadline to be included if you can. But remember, one of those cabins is yours so unless you are sharing some of your goodies with yourself as well you can take 1 away, :-) Sorry to be smarty pants!!!!! :rotfl2:

I am guessing here, but I would say that there are indeed 2 cabins for them (Dan & Diane) and then one for thier kids and grandkids (Tom, Brooke, Kaelin & Cason). But the FE will be on Cabin 2012 with all 6 of them.

That is what I am assuming, and you know what they say about assuming!

Has anyone ever used the CASH account on DCL before? We have an onboard credit and have no plans on booking excursions or any spa treatments. Have selected the CASH account and wondering if there are any pitfalls to using this? Any info is appreciated.

Cash account? I've been on four DCL cruises but hadn't heard of this before. :confused3
I have an onboard credit this time and would be interested in hearing more about the cash account.
Thanks,
Russ

:idea::dance3:I checked off cash accounts when I did my on line check in. I felt that I did not want my cc numbers out there for an extended period of time. I was told it is easy to change it when checking in the day of the cruise. There is a minimum of 300.00 dollars to place in the acount and you will be notified when it is less then 50.00(so I was told by a CM). My friend was told it was a 500.00 min., but that seems a little much to me. We are not sure what account we will use because we have three kids that will be able to use their cards for smoothies and things.

Saw this on the restaurants board and thought I'd post it as an FYI since I know several people will be spending some time in WDW before/after the cruise.

There is a new $10 pp cancellation fee for no shows or ADR cancellations less than 24 hrs from the reservation time. This goes into affect on 10/26, and applies to Signature, Character and very popular restaurants. Existing ADRs are not impacted- only those made after 10/26.

Happy planning everyone :goodvibes

whew - this thread slowed down a bit!!

I am finally starting to get excited about this trip, I have been so busy with school and other travels that this one fell to the side for a while. No longer - it is front and center now!!!

check list:
FE gifts - done
rental car - done
dining reservation for Friday night - done
port to MCO transfer - gotta get that taken care of
packing list - started
pirate costume - all done (finally!!!!)
adult cabana - cancelled (too much money for 2 people)
excursions - none planned (been to Nassau at least 20 times)

did I miss anything?

looking forward to meeting everyone, and having a great time!!!!

Cayla

And so the upgrades begin!!!

Please note the new cabin number for "rhunit1". They are now in cabin #7508.

37 Days ladies & gents!!!!!!

We are sooooo excited! Packing in process, FE gifts done! Anyone know what to expect out of the weather this time of the year. Heading to WDW for 4 days after the cruise and just can't decide how to pack....have been told it can be cold but it can also be warm! AHHHHH

The weather in Florida is hit or miss, your best bet is to wait till 2 weeks out and try to get the extended forcast. This week it has been very windy and a cold front has come through for a few days. But as far as cold, dont expect it too cold. The lowest it ever gets in late fall is about the low 60's, a pair of jeans and a long sleeve shirt with a mid/light jacket will go pretty far. Not only that, what better of an excuse to have to buy a warm and cozy Disney throw blanket?

I'm really starting to get excited! I booked this cruise so long ago and it seemed like it would never get here. I still have so much to do!

Completed tasks:
Passports are ordered and "in processing" per my last check to the website.
Online check-in is mostly complete but will need updating (see Passports above :rolleyes1)
FE has been ordered but hasn't yet arrived. Dying to see how it turned out!
ADRs and hotel reservations for post-cruise WDW stay complete.
Reservation for parking at the port (well, offsite) is booked.
Arrangements made with vet for dog to be boarded.

Still to do:
Finish FE gifts - kids are purchased, just need to be wrapped; family gifts are all started but not yet finished.
Ask someone to check on the cats.
Need to finish my packing list - and then PACK!

It doesn't seem like much, but the packing is going to be the most difficult and time consuming part.

Please note the Cabin number for "beccadoby" is now posted - Cabin #5011.

will you be sending out a finalized list a day or two before? I would appreciate it! I use my phone and can read it while onboard to ensure I get the cabins right....

Thanks!
Cayla

OK, so, I am gonna give this thing a try. My wife and I are doing our 3rd DCL cruise, this time, and I want us to get in on the FE action. On our last cruise, we brought some little items and snuck around placing them in Fes we found on the ship. While it was fun, I want to make some connections with our fellow DIS members. We will be in 5186 (port side, aft, almost as aft sa you can go). I will be checking this thread regularly for staterooms and such. I hope to be able to drop a little something in every FE listed here. pirate:

PS - Whew - quick scan of the entire list clocked only 40 minutes. Um. Well, looks like I'm late to the party on this one. Oh well, surprise, surprise, us New Orleans folks don't know what a "last call" is. LOL. Anyway, it's all good. Even a scrap of paper with a "hello" would be cool. Happy cruising, everyone.

Hi all! Got my fish extender today and just had to share - I love how it turned out! :thumbsup2 Though I must admit that I'm a little concerned - I thought it would be bigger for some reason. One of my FE gifts is quite a bit bigger than the FE itself so I'm going to need to devise a way to get it into everyone's FE without bending it. :rolleyes1
