Hello everyone! We are new to DIS and DCL but we will be on the DCL on November 27. I was just browsing and discovered the FE! My girls are dying to join in on the fun but i was wondering if it would take a lot of time out of our trip?

not really! It actually is fun to see what different cabin doors look like. Many folks (myself included) decorate the doors - plus it gives one time out of the sun if one is prone to sunburn (I am doing my best to make pale a new fashion statement )

I say go for it! The little gifts give one a thrill when they arrive, and it is generally a good way to get to know folks!

Yes it will take some time to gather your gifts and deliver them once on board, but it does not have to be a chore. The kids love it, to come back to your room and find goodies the whole cruise is worth it! There are many threads that discuss FE in detail. It is what you make it, no matter what that is.

Please take a moment and check your details on the FE list post for accuracy. Make sure room numbers are correct as well as spellings and other details. We will use the 60 day mark as a cut-off point for signing up for the FE List.

Thanks for all the help. My family is really excited for the trip and now they can channel that energy into making our own FE and goodies.

We are in two staterooms (having 5 DDs) Room 10602 = Marissa (17) Devon (turning 16 on the first day of the cruise, nov. 27) Erin (12) Leah (7) Stephanie (4) and in Room 10604 = Kathleen (me) and Ken... No need for ages !

We are going with two other families and giving them this site information in case they want to join in on the fun!

Did anyone else see the "Have our characters call your characters" option on the planning dashboard page of DCL? It looks like you can schedule a call from Mickey/Goofy/Ariel to tell your kids about the cruise. Did not really see much in the way of details about that call though. Looks like a pretty neat idea.

Ok everyone, who is your favorite Disney character?

I would have to say mine is Minnie, but also like the Monsters Inc. duo of Sulley & Mike. We even named our last kitty Sulley, miss you bunches Mr. Sulley!

Mine are Chip and Dale, DH's is Tink. However, we're both classic Mickey fans as well.

There stupid webpage drives me absolutely NUTS!

I have trying to log on to do my ressies for the last 15 minutes and it will not load. I had pre-loaded my page so I could just click, but as usual the Disney web fouls up. It says you are logged in, then when you try to access it LOGS YOU OUT!!

It did the same excat garbage with the regular site. I log in and it says I have 10 food ressies and 2 hotel ressies. Click on view ressies and it says there are none registered. Log out, then back in and there they are. Go to make a new ressie and it just logs you off. Log back in for the 3rd time and now I can make ressie. Now imagein doing that over and over for every single ressie and going SLOOOWWW because the lines are packed.l

I swear if I can't get any ressies at all I am going to puke up a lung.

In the span it took me to write this my page is now 2% more loaded... still no ressie screen...

AAARRRGGGHHHH!!

I feel your pain. I'm having problems with the Cruise Line site right now. Tonight is the 90-day mark to book Palo, etc. and I wanted to get logged in so I'd be ready. The site keeps freezing, losing my info. I am staying up late to do this and I'll be really upset if I can't get my reservations tonight.

Hi Chris, I noticed the list has one of our rooms listed as 10502. It is actually 10602. Although the thought of having a little space between the kids and my husband and I has crossed my mind.
