So, I'm so excited to be part of this Disney Meet! I literally just got off the phone with the TA... we're in... I'm not even thinking about the $$ right now.

We were on a Double Dip back in 12/2006... and loved every minute of it!

Now, after taking a little over an hour to recap pages 1-16 of the thread... I kinda get a great feel for this group. You are all so cool and supportive, Can't wait to meet you all in person.

We did the FE gifting the last time... and it was like Christmas everyday.

Disney67- we would love to partake in the FE and Shirt wearing- We wore neon green shirts so... let's just say it was a sight to see... couldn't miss us.

I just booked this cruise this am; my son turns 10 on the 22nd and he'd really love a trip for his bday

We are Donald and Angel
kids are Frankie 10~ this will be his bday present
and Dominic 6.

We are from Rochester NY

I'd love to join the FE and the shirts

Welcome Polyluvr! In my family, I love using kids birthdays as 'excuses' for travel, especially since my husband would rather spend money on our house. Last year I used my daughter's 16th as the reason why I 'had' to take her and her sister to London!

It will be so nice the Dominic will already know that someone his age will also be on the ship w him He can be a nervous nelly @ times; and LOVES WDW but tends to miss home LOL

I love to take the kids somewhere around their Bdays~ although Dominic's is 12/30~ and it's really expensive to go to WDW or a cruise for NYE.

Jeff, I'm wondering where you saw Lots - O - Bear? Was it where you can see Woody, Buzz and Jessy near the back of the lot? My girls would die to see him but we just couldn't find him other than the parade last year.

it is in The Magic of Disney Animation in DHS and i will say he was so soft lotso strawberry sorcerer mickey , mrs.incredable and one other i think.

We are planning a precruise trip to Disney and I'm addicted to finding out how in the heck we will use the Dining Plan.

I hear alot of Dis-ers are strategic on this. Any ideas/recommendations?

Oh, and any advice between the Allstar Music vs. Pop Century?

Last but not least, is it worth it to get a premium room for $140
(near the transportation/food court)?

we are planning a precruise trip to the world too. i asked my ta to book the rooms for us...and our first choice was POP...but i was told there was no availability!! guess we are gonna be staying at sports this trip. we've never stayed at that one, and my boys were itching to stay there.

We are doing a pre cruise stay at Pop Century (8/23 - 8/28). We love Pop!

Regarding a standard room vs a preferred room, I like a preferred room because it's closer to the food court and the bus stops. If you have a car you probably don't need to spend the extra money on a preferred room.

I booked the free dining deal . I haven't started planning our ADRs because the August park hours have not been posted. Once the August park hours are released next month I can figure out which parks we will visit each day. Then I can figure out our ADRs.

I've done the dining plan twice. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.
