Greetings from aboard the wonderful Disney Wonder!

Let me just tell you that we are now officially booked for the Aug 28, 2011 cruise on the Disney Dream!

Got the discount I was hoping for and we also decided to cruise a little longer than actually planned.
We'll get on board on Aug 21 and disembark with you all on Sept 1!

Still on board and can't wait to cruise again!

My sons will be 22 and 17 at the time of the cruise



I know very little about the fish extender so I'm not sure if I'll be joining in. Can you tell me about your fe exchange?



We will be doing a pre cruise stay at Pop Century from 8/23 - 8/28. I picked Pop because I am looking to do the most economical trip possible since we are also cruising. I would love to stay at a moderate or deluxe resort but we need two rooms. Two rooms at moderate or deluxe are not in the budget.

During our trip last Christmas, the three of us shared a room at Pop. I quickly learned one room at Pop is no longer an option for us.

So this time we will be getting two rooms at Pop. Luckily we'll be there during free dining

Thanks for the welcome Jeff! Can you tell me a little bit about how the FE works?

the best way to describe it is it is a FGM but a little bit different . this is going to be my first so the easiest way is look back to page 1-3 i ask the same question and someone gave me a link that explains it real well . too me you can buy or make a FE it is like the shoe things our parents use to hang over the door with pockets but modified a bit . then you can make or buy things for everyone the joins in but it has to be disneyized i hope this helps if not please post this is going to be sooo much fun with all my dis friends

My mom and I keep joking that Jayson (our stateroom host) was not there today to make our beds and Warren (Our favorite server) wasnt there to bring breakfast.....


I wish the Dream was going to have longer routes.....

Well due to some changes in our plans with the family and friends we have cancelled this part of our cruise and won t be joining you all on the 4 night we are just doing the 3 night Sept 1st and have booked 6 nights at the caribbean beach before the cruise. Main reason is to do with the grandkids going back to school and wanting to spend time at disney as well so this was the only way to do both before the school year begins. The good news for me is that dh and I are now booked on a 7 night eastern Jan 29, got a great rate for a balcony view with the canadian discount!Plus we are booked at the Poly for 2 nights before the eastern cruise, great rate there with 40% off lagoon view! Wish we didnt have to cancel this 4 night as I was looking forward to meeting you all maybe we will at some future cruise cause I know once you cruise disney you always come back! happy sailing and for those still on as b2b I will see you on the later part of the dream cruise!

I read up on the FE so now I know what it is. But I do have a few more questions about how this FE will work.

Do we leave a gift in the FEs for everyone participating or just one person's FE?

Is it like Secret Santa where you don't know who has your name?

How often do we leave gifts in the FE?

I'm sure I'll have more questions but that's it for now.

You can either leave one gift for the people in the stateroom to share or one for each member of the party.
You can either leave "one" gift during the cruise or leave several gifts during your cruise.

What we do - we make/buy little gifts for everyone in the stateroom for every day - remember small and homemade - NO big gifts. We enjoy the daily round delivering our gifts, but we have received lots of "one time" gifts as well. Whatever you give and how often is up to you, but I can tell you we were the envy of our deck and there was something in the extender almost every time we returned to our stateroom - and it is SO much fun (both giving and receiving)

Hello everyone! We are also booked on this cruise. I was delaying posting because we are also booked on the Sept. 1 cruise and added this one to do a b2b. If things get too tight (things are kinda bad in Greece right now), we may have to pull out of this cruise, but things seem to be shaping up for my family, so here we are! (yeah, I can be long-winded at times)

Cruising are me, Debbie, 40 and DD Emmanuela 15. We are leaving the grumpy members of our family home this year! This will be our second and third cruise.

We are all for the FE!!! but do not know our stateroom number yet.

Also, we also like the idea of a matching T-shirt and will gladly pay cost if someone was still considering that idea.

I love hearing updates! Have you heard about Remy?? I heard it is 75$ for dinner, but a marvelous experience.

Also, I am also considering the idea of renting a room at the Comfort Suites for Atlantis water slide purposes, but am afraid of going on my own. Is anyone still interested in doing that? Care to walk me through it??

Hi Debbie I would like to take a minute to welcome you on Board our Dis friend cruise on the disney dream .
I will add you to the FE list but when you get the info please PM me with it .
as per the shirts im still willing to do them to all that want to join in on this too . im not planning on making them till june of next year just in case we have for any reason that people have to canceal for any reason .
Ive herd about remy but did not know it would cost 75.00 wow .
I would have to think about this and if i can afford it in my budget for this trip .

Hi guys we might have one more dis friend joining us . I met there family at the very merry mixer for dvc at doorway to dreams in NY . I really hope they come by and post and say Hi ! because it was really nice meeting there whole family !
